  1. i went to my yr 10 formal last year in a bayside blue r34 gtr. I just went on carsales and rang up a lady that was selling hers locally, asked her nicely and there it went, bob's your uncle. Maybe try that approach? I paid her for 1/2 tank of petrol and bought her a box of chocolates aswell haha.
  2. So i'm looking into buying some lenso D1R's, and not completely sure what colour to get, as well as offsets, etc. My r34 gtt is black with an impul kit (see pictures below) , and will be getting smoked indicators all round fairly soon unless you think clear might suit this set up better? I got my brother to do a really quick photoshop job on a picture of the car to give some sort of idea as to what they will look like in both black w/ red line, and aluminium w/ polished lip. Personally i'm heading towards the aluminium look with smoked indicators, but that's where i'd appreciate some constructive comments (none of the usual "oh they're bad rims anyway" "they're heavy" etc etc.) They will be street wheels, not for the track, so therefore i dont mind if they have a bit of weight or arent built to the same quality as some proper jap wheels. The size and offsets of rims, as well as tyre sizes i'm looking into running are 18x9 +12 225/40/18 (front), 18x10 +22 255/35/18 (rear). Would these be the best size to fit? I looked in the R34 Picture thread and "SiNNO" is running this setup, so i know it can be done, but my car is sitting a bit lower than his, so i might need a bit of camber? Is this the most aggressive setup I should run? These photoshopped pics give no justice to the amount of dish there would be, especially at the rears. Couldnt get pics to sit in here from photobucket, so have to upload them the crap way .
  3. how many km's?
  4. I would keep them the way they are tbh. If you spray the polished lip black, you will take away the deep dish look of the wheel (the dish will blend into the centre of the wheel, and it will reduce the lip visually)
  5. don't go with the eastbear kit... every single person wants their gtt to look like a gtr these days it seems Be a tad more creative. Personally i like the imul kit, and have it installed on my car. Some of my favourite kits tho, would have to be the JDL Tuning kits. Check out http://www.jdltuning.com/?mo=9&m=3
  6. ahhh, the joys of being an ACT P Plater
  7. hey, sorry for not having a general enquiry on the car, but just wondering what offsets you're running as well as tyre sizes. Do you have any trouble with the wheels? (rubbing, scraping on full lock) cheers
  8. amazing shots, love your work Only thing i dont like is how that owner put flames on his skyline
  9. I would have to disagree with you there. I'm on my P's here in canberra, and when i drive the skyline i never attract the wrong police attention (in fact they rather just stare at the car lol). It all depends on how you drive the car, not what car you are driving.
  10. ahk, i'm guessing that's a no, because the gtt turbo is already bigger (it handles six cylinders and 2.5L) thanks
  11. hi, I was wondering if it's possible to put a stock r34 gtr turbo (ceramic, not N1) in an r34 gtt? If so, is it even worth it? (is it better than the stock turbo in a gtt; is there a power gain?) Any help would be appreciated cheers
  12. are the 33 gtr seats series 3? (red stitching) and how much for them alone? Pictures yet?
  13. may be a noob question, but are you able to fit a 34 gtr turbo into a 34 gtt? If so, is one of these turbos better than a stock gtt turbo? cheers
  14. anyone know what wheels were on the autostyle 32? btw, is the owner of the z-tune on the forums?
  15. Nathan, I'm sorry if my response came across as rude, i was just trying to find out some details. Like Kat, I have been a regular user of eBay as i regularly buy and mostly sell items on the site. I'm only relaying information that you would already know now, but as a few others have said it is best to buy and sell through paypal as opposed to bank transfers. Paypal protects you for online purchases of up to $20,000 so if someone does happen to try and rip you off, you'll either get your money back from the seller or Paypal will pay you the money. It's also best to buy from sellers with feedback no lower than about 98% on average as anything lower than that is actually quite rare (i.e. they are a bit dodgy). I now understand why you decided to try and make the purchase off the site which is completely understandable, my mistake for jumping the gun. The best thing to do would be to contact eBay about him and they will more than likely ban his account as well as do their best to organise getting your money back, but eBay can also come across a bit rude as i did, because they will more than likely give you the usual talk of "we encourage you to only purchase items through the site with paypal blah blah..." Apologies again for my above comments. cheers, tom
  16. hate to add more, but his feedback score is also only 90.9%... when you click into it there are 2 negative feedback scores from 2009 Paid for item and never received, poor seller communication , bad ebayer - SR20DET coilpack cover (#250508441586) slow delivery, no web cam, Password protected, power issue, all round crap - Compaq C700 (#250475610462) the positive feedback score underneath them also list "deliveries very slow, poor communication" I don't want to sound rude, but i think you should maybe play it safe and check this stuff out next time before you make a deal.
  17. just wondering, if the bidding was starting at $100 why did you ask for an off ebay sale price (it actually ended with 0 bids anyway)? Did you pay via paypal or bank transfer?
  18. i swear i've seen them on an s2000 here come to think of it
