No thanks.

Meh, the Forest Hill lanes sucked cack. It also didn't help it was on the top level and when the elevators were so unreliable, lugging 4 bowling balls up the escalators weren't my idea of fun.
-
Fark yeah! Timezone lockins FTW!! Those were the days everyone was racing to get onto Street Fighter 2 so they could invisible throw everyone with Guile and when in doubt, reset the game with Dhalasim Is the bowling alley still there? Spent many a day in there practicing along with Box Hill, Ringwood and Mooralbark. Ah the memories.

Ahh the good ol days of living in Vermont South. Those days will never be forgotten. Whirly Bird Helicopters FTW! Dennys/The Keg was cool too occasionally. Billabong was cool too! I remember us beating the f*ck out of the Billabong Koala during one of my birthday parties. It was hell funny!

Hey! Even a nice body kit makes it different from a stocky so if you are actually interested, I suggest posting up a couple pics of the car and the committee can judge as to whether it is unique or not. We're encouraging everyone who has put some effort into their car to represent SAU-Vic at AutoSalon.
-
AutoSalon is on Nov 10 and 11. You will need to drop your car off at Jeff's Shed on the Friday afternoon at a time designated by Cabin and then the car will be lockdown until Sunday afternoon around 1800 when everyone starts clearing out. Car requirements: Unless you want to run for King of Autosalon, all we ask is for a neat example of your model of car. Exterior, interior and engine mods always help because it shows expression and makes your car unique and there's a good chance we'll take it. If your car is a stock RB25 with an exhaust and rims, there isn't really anything that makes the car stand out and it may not make the cut. Hell, James had the Lada at the GP and it won a trophy for "Dare to be Different". If you have any other questions, feel free to to post it here or ask myself or Ash and we'd be happy to help out.

Don't forget this meeting on Tues night people. Please encourage others to join SAU-Vic and participate in MAS this year because it is a lot of fun and a great time for socialising with other like minded people. Also keep in mind that if we don't get enough people at the meeting (not including people who can't make it) we will have to cancel the event which would be very unfortunate.
-
By the powers vested in me as President of SAU-Vic, how should I say this.....?? IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!! Now, all we have to do is find a venue and time to have said SAU Vs WRX burger challenge. Let's all understand though that the challenge will be to eat one of Age's original burger thingos with the donuts, not some Maccas, Hungry Jacks or Captain Americas burger. I can't wait to see this on YouTube!
-
That's a piss poor excuse Age and you know it! You of all people know how much fun MAS is. GET INTO IT!! We appreciate your offer of help though. It's greatly appreciated and we all know you're more of capable of coming up with the goods, bar inflatable cacti.
-
Brentt, Hold onto the application form and payment mate. We'll confirm after the meeting on Tues as to whether we'll be going ahead with the stand. It will all depend on the number of people who turn up to the meeting or otherwise notify myself or Ash that they want to partiicpate in MAS. MAS is 100% on Nov 10 and 11. This was taken from www.autosalon.org.
-
Oh don't worry about that. Wayne is one of the keenest members we have coz he knows how much fun we always have at MAS every year! Just ask him about sleeping outside the Exhibition Building
-
Hey Brentt, People can tell that you've put a lot of effort into your car and that's what we like to show off at MAS. I think a bit of a clean is in order but besides that, it would be a unique addition to the stand. Of course, that's just my opinion so it will have to go to the committee to judge whether it makes the cut. Unfortuantely, I don't think a "race" theme is going to work because all of the real "race" cars we have are going on the NSW trip. It would be a great theme if Chris, Snowy, Jack and others were going to be on the stand but I think we're still going to have to think of other ideas. If your car doesn't make the cut, you will most likely get your $100 back. I can confirm with Cabin when we submit our applications.

This is your chance people to show off your pride and joys to over 5000 over the weekend. It's always a great show with plenty to see and heaps of people in the modded car industry to meet. There were a great deal of excellent examples of Skylines on the recent GOR cruise and we'd like you to participate more actively in the club's events! Every year we put on a great show and many of you have visited before. Now is your chance to be part of the great event. All you have to do is join SAU-Vic and you will also have access to the members forums, cruises and events. Stand up now and be counted! On a side note, I also have a couple nice ladies who have volunteered their services to help out with the stand this year which is ace but the more help we get from you, the better the show will be.

Just got back from Final Inspection. They just washed the 6 and I am truely impressed. I was paying $27.50 for a simple wash on the place in Punt Rd and they did a fair job but for $25 at Final Inspection, Damien's crew did a great job on the car. Will most likely will be taking the 6 there again just before summer for a full detail. Highly recommended!! Take your car there and you won't be disappointed.

Umm Age, Are you f*cking mental? If you wanted to see a real recipe for disaster, that burger is it!! Cholesterol City, here we come!! Are you that desperate to win something that you have to stoop so low as to challenge me to something physical? And it's not just a physical challenge, it's a damn disaster of a challenge which could harm my internals which will no doubt require a rebuild. I'll tell you what, I'll take the challenge if I can nominate a proxy to take the challenge on my behalf. SAU-Vic are a team after all There already is a WangBurger Rossco. If you got your a$$ to DECA, you'd know all about it
-
I'm sold. Will be visiting Damien on the weekend for sure!
-
Thanks for the offer but I seriously have to decline it. 30k is nothing more than a spit in my face and an insult to everyone who has put any effort into my car. A lot more than just time and money has gone into this car and now that I'm not really fussed of whether I sell it anymore, I think I can wait for a better offer than 30k. If you have 30k, go buy a stock 33 GTR with some basic upgrades. That being said though, if you make a decent offer, the car could be yours.

I'm in need of a rear strut brace and the black metal plating which fits at the back of the boot. If anyone has either or both of these, please either PM or email me at president@sauvic.com.au

Last night was one of the best presentations we've ever had a general meeting. Massive thanks to Snowy for giving us an insight into Dutton and what's involved in being a serious competitor for Champion honours. Thanks to Chris for making up such a cool Powerpoint presentation too which complemented Snowy's speech beautifully.

I'll be there
-
I can't think of anything entertaining about boobs right now so I'll just leave it at that. Hey! Can men suffer from breast cancer? I know a fair few guys who could be considered to possess manboobs.
-
Room booked! I'm lucky enough to be between Chris/Min and Adz/Dee! Woohoo! May have a spare bed in my room depending on whether Phuong decides to come up or not. Will know week before DECA most likely due to the Princess.
-
Phew! Got in with a couple hours to spare. Happy Birthday Joel! Hope you had a great day mate! Welcome to the 30s club. It's nothing special expect people expect more out of you because you're apparently more mature.
-
Looks like a great turnout! Well done to the organisers and everyone who participated! Some ace photos in there too people. As mentioned, if you join up to SAU-Vic, we run a 2 day GOR cruise every year in Summer which is awesome fun plus you also get the added bonus of being invited to run at DECA and other member's cruises throughout the year. Just an added note, it's not that hard to organise a non-member cruise. All you need to do is post a EOI thread in the Events section and take it from there. It's a lot of fun getting so many cars heading out together for some fun!

Looking for a R33 GTR Series 2 front bar and lower lip (black plastic thing on the bottom). Please contact me either via PM or email if you can help.
