Hey Martin!! Thanks for doing the videoing again!! Simply put.... You are a L-E-G-E-N-D
  6. Funny you mentioned that. In Malaysia, Singapore a number of Asian countries renamed the Alfa 164 to the 168. My uncle bought one. It still sucked

I'm just waiting to see some footage of my new found handbraking skillz thanks to the coaching of the Snowcone. Definitely made thrashing the GTR a more enjoyable experience.
  8. Thanks to Team NSW for coming down to Shep to have a go at DECA! Glad you all had fun and we hope to see you guys/gals down again for any of our upcoming ones as you're all invited again! Results will be up once Chris (Scotsman) or Andrew (Snowy) get them up. Should be in the next couple days in the Vic section or someone will post a link in here.

    Deca Review

Firstly, thank you to everyone who participated and spectated. These event are organised for everyone to enjoy and to give their cars an absolute caning under a controlled environment without the fear of causing any serious damage to themselves or others. Secondly, special thanks must go to Snowy and Chris for planning such a great event! Thanks also to everyone who helped out on the day including all the marshals, Team BBQ (not Ash) and everyone else who took time out of their schedules to come up and assist in making the day run so smoothly. Thirdly, thanks to Team NSW for making the long haul down to Vic to join in the fun! We hope you had a ball and enjoy the Sat festivities which is Taco Baz and anything which happened afterwards. Just remember kids, GPS doesn't know everything... Have a safe trip home! I have to give personal thanks to Snowy for giving me the trademark "Snowy 2 min lesson in handbraking" as this helped immensely in making my day so much more enjoyable! I think I've almost got it right now and the understeering pig which is my car has transformed itself into an awesome machine! It's amazing how much a couple minutes of tuition from someone who knows what they're doing can do to make you a better driver! All I need to do is make the car more responsive down low (without spending heaps of $$$ on a new turbo). Aaron, good to see you made it home ok. 3 out of 5 forward gears is plenty Can't wait to see some pics, vids and results!!
  10. I'm still heading up at lunchtime with Snowy. Will be leaving Donnybrook at 1300 so people are welcome to tag along if they want to get up there real early.
  11. Mine are forged. It's stamped on the rim
  12. Adzy, There's a couple crews going up on Fri. I'm meeting Alan at 1630 at Donnybrook and then heading up but I think there maybe a 1930 crew leaving from the same spot.
  13. Jim Berry FTW!! Accept no substitutes. I took me 3 clutches to understand how good they really were. I wouldn't recommend anything else.
  14. I felt EXACTLY the same when I bought my 33 GTR. I ended up spending a small house on my car to get it to where it is today. If you want a built GTR ready to go, mine's for sale. You can check it out at LeeWah GTR
  15. Just bumping thisback up to the top
  16. Please remind me to kick you the general meeting *Adds to agenda "Kick Wayne in the nuts"*

  19. You don't win friends with salad!!!!! -- H Simpson
  20. Congrats Dave and Ana on raising the money for Westnet! More than happy to help you guys promote the next one too!
  21. Let me take this time to congratulate Caryn Lacey (Kaz180) for being voted the new Secretary of SAU-Vic for 2007! Kaz has plenty of experience in book keeping, data management and administrative procedures and I'm sure she will be a fantastic addition to the committee. On behalf of the committee, I'd like to than Melinda Blizzard for taking on the role of caretaker Secretary. Min did a great job in keeping the SAU-Vic members train going and volunteered her time to help out when we needed her the most. Thanks to Min and Al for running as candidates for the role at the general meeting. The voting was very very close but unfortunately there can be only 1 winner. Having 3 candidates for the role shows the commitment, dedication and passion our members have for the club and their desire to assist the club in anyway they can. Thank you for that! Congratulations again Kaz!
  22. Remember all, this election is taking place tonight! Be there if you want to vote (on the provision you are a paid member)!
  23. Yes. Yes you have. And for that, you're now banned from attending any SAU-Vic event
  24. Due to time constraints, ballot papers will be issued at the EGM on Tues night.
