  1. I just put on some new cheap ones and they're giving me an extra 38awkw over my 5 year old HKS ones (now up to 348awkw on 2860-5s). Expensive does not always mean better. Tuning always has a lot to do with it.
  2. Congrats Chris and Min! WTF happened to a 8/8/08 birth? I was really looking forward to that. Hope everyone is doing well. It seems that Team SAU-Vic Jr is growing stronger all the time!
  3. Was at Crown last week and saw these obnoxious vehicles parked out the front of the hotel. [x] Audi R8 [x] Aston Martin Vantage [x] Aston Martin DB9
  4. Great to watch! Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  5. Mazda 6 FTMFW! Best car I have ever owned. Just as food for thought, I filled my Mazda 6 with a full tank last Tues and it cost me $98 from reserve. That tank got me a total of 432kms of city driving. Good luck doing that in a S15 or 32GTR. Besides that, running a car isn't only fuel costs. Insurance and maintenance will also hurt the hip pocket. Mazda servicing is pretty damn good and in the 5 years I've owned my 6 (from new), it's only had a couple warranty claims which I think is pretty damn good. I'm not sure what the insurance premium is on a 32GTR or a S15 for a 20 year old but I guarantee it'll be more than for a Mazda 6.
  6. Happy Birthday Sez! Hope you have a great day!

    What The?

Mick did my car. Accept no substitutes!
  8. Looks great! Top work Bec and others! Good to see all the new sponsors are now signed up and ready to roll. Will have to get a pic of my car up on the member's rides soon.
  9. I live across the road from Fitness First Vic Gardens
  10. I've voted but unfortunately the sad truth of it is that the GP won't be here for much longer. The Vic Govt doesn't want it here anymore, Bernie doesn't care whether it's here anymore and attendence has been dropping. It's a sad state of affairs but the reality is that money talks and Bernie wants more of it.
  11. I "work" @ Crown most days. Does that count?
  12. Congrats on the excellent results again!
  13. Dammit! I can't make it. Going to the launch of the new 1 series @ Stillwell.

    Looks ace Sarah! Great work!
  15. I play most of my cash games on Full Tilt Poker (www.fulltiltpoker.com) and occasionally on Pacific Poker (www.pacificpoker.com) and most of my tournaments at Pokerstars (www.pokerstars.com). Most of the time Crown is my work place. I like to think of myself as a contractor there Having said that though, when I was in the US in April, The Venetian, Bellagio, Wynn, Caesars, MGM Grand and The Commerce were all places of work for me.
  16. Self employed as a poker player. Specialising in No Limit Holdem but can play Limit Holdem, Omaha, Razz and 7 Card Stud. Pretty casual and relaxed atmosphere. Can work from home or at any casino/card room in the World. Beginner/intermediate coaching available if required.
  17. TT setups FTMFW yo!! Had a ball! If only I didn't screw up my first run of battle3. Stupid DNFs. May have to come back with semi comps for the next DECA and see if I can move any further up the ladder.
  18. Happy Birthday Handbags! Hope you have a great day!
  19. leewah v micolour.wmv lol. Should be called MiColourWithABitOfLeeWah.wmv
  20. Hey Martin, thanks to you and your "boys". Always appreciated and always amusing to watch how much of a hack I am compared to some others.
  21. Great day up at Shep! Thanks heaps to the organisers and volunteers once again. I had a ball with the R on the skid pan. Finding boost really helps with improving times. With some semicomps, who knows what my car could do. Battles were ace fun! Congrats to the designers!
  22. That looks ace Ferni! Job well done mate.
  23. Stay at Shep on Fri night fixes the problem of waking up early on Sat monring. I've found that driving home in a convoy with a CB is also fun and keeps you occupied hence avoiding the exhaust droney noise. If all fails, just pull over for a powernap. No point risking injuring yourself or others just trying to get home faster.
  24. Dammit! I'm going to miss an Uncle Snowy presentation. Will still be on my leg of my US trip and will be in LA.
  25. Can't go past Mick @ MiColour at 7 Dissik Street Cheltenham. Many of regular SAU-Vic members have used Mick and swear by his work (me included). He's not as cheap as some out there but his work is 100% perfect once the work is done. He's also a major sponsor of SAU-Vic which means he'll give you a member's discount.
