  1. Well derrr. That would have been too easy Ash. Now shuddup and go do some work
  2. Ace!! That's what I'm looking for! I'll get in contact with Evan. Hey Al, Nah, I still had the ATTESSA plugged in. NFI why the FWD didn't kick in straight away but it did eventually and got me out of the massive skid session. I really love the photos though.
  3. Can the person who took this photos please get in contact with me. I'm after the high res shots of these photos for my collection.
  4. Been invited to a few things including parties at mate's houses, Mahogany Room party, high stakes poker NYE party and a family do. NFI what I'll do. Probably end up at Jack's party in Glenroy though
  5. Great work Rod! Hey! MiniWog wants to test drive a manual SS but can't seem to find one this side of the space/time continuem. Maybe you'll let him have a drive
  6. Mine was tested at AutoSalon in 2005. 604awkw on the Sat and 608rwkw on the Sun. Same dyno, just dropped the front shaft and that was it.
  7. I cannot confirm nor deny that accusation. You'll hear from my lawyers. President's Choice award... SIF!!!
  8. Congrats to all the deserved winners! Thanks again to Kev for donating the advanced driver training prize too! Well done to Age for winning it. I still think it should have been a redraw though

    Thanks....

Thanks to everyone who made the time to come out to our final General Meeting for 2007. Congratulations to all the trophy winners! Thanks must also go to the committee members who put a slideshow together for the meeting. Some very entertaining stuff presented last night. We hope everyone managed to score their free beverage compliments of the committee. Our special thanks to Chris from Centerline who took time out of his busy schedule to come down and help present awards and answer some questions from people too. It was also good to see James is in fact still alive and still playing with very expensive toys. That CS was one of the coolest cars I have EVER been in. The exhaust noise and downshifting alone is worth the price tag! The committee has worked hard this year trying to build on the solid foundation laid by previous committees and after last night's meeting, I think we've done pretty well. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and tireless efforts from committee members this year who have volunteered so much of their personal time to help make the club what it is today. Hopefully all members present ended up catching up with Bec and confirming addresses so we can send you your Xmas present. The calandar has been in the pipeline for a very long time now and to actually see it become reality is a major accomplishment for this committee and especially Chris who put in all the hard yards compiling and composing all the photos. Now as we wrap up the year, we wish you all a very merry Xmas and a happy new year. Please drive safe over the holidays and keep out of the way of the somewhat less capable drivers.
  10. Happy Brithday Ash (if you actualy made it to your birthday). You were in fine form when I was leaving and there were another 2 151 shots lined up for you. I think my last words were to Archie when I said "I hope his ambulance cover has been paid up!"
  11. And uuuuuup you go! *Bump* Don't forget peeps, this will be a big meeting with all the prizes for championships and the SnS being handed out.
  12. RIP to the people who lost their lives in this accident. My deepest sympathies go to the families who have lost one of their loved ones. My GF's sister went to school with the Overnewton students and she's pretty upset about the whole thing. I still take the stance of people who drag race on public roads should be dealt with in the harshest manner possible if they get caught. Not only are they endangering their own lives but they are endangering others around them. It was unfortuante that this accident involved so many young lives and could have been easily avoided. You may or may not know, I've started a group on Facebook called "Drag racing on public roads is for retards" and I encourage all of you to join it. Although it might not make a difference to how young people drive on our roads, it shows that people are truely concerned about their wellbeing and they may think twice before they try to do something stupid. With enough people joining the group, it may be a small step to our governments taking extra measures to educate new drivers of the dangers of driving on public roads and enlighten them to safer environments such as legal drag strips and race tracks.
  13. Congratulations to all the winners of the Show n Shine prizes. ROFL @ Ash!!!!
  14. Great event peeps! A really good turnout on a perfect day. Thanks to Chris and Min for bringing the BBQ and cooking up a storm and getting everyone fed in a timely manner. Thanks to everyone who came and displayed their cars. Some very very nice examples of Skylines out there. I'm sure Damian at FI got his fair share of work too Thanks to Poite for waxing my car even though it was hot out there. That wax really does make a huge difference! Voting will be tallied and awards will be presented at the general meeting on the 18th so make sure you come to collect!
  15. Yup. Weather looks like it'll be great! I can't wait. Should be a lot of fun checking out some nice clean cars. I think Damian at Final Inspection has been a pretty busy man over the last week or so! I'll be heading down tomorrow first thing to get the car washed. See you all there!
  16. Great work getting the results up so promptly Chris. It's a tough job mate. Kudos to everyone who participated and made some good times. I finally won an event in the lag beast! Yay me!

    Skydiving

My tip is to hold on tight and don't forget to enjoy the ride. You never know when it's your last Just kidding. When I did it, it was heaps of fun! Just enjoy the experience and try to not to get caught up in all the extra stuff they try to sell you. The DVD at the end is pretty good but that's bout it.
  18. Great work Sez!! You're becoming quite the photographer!! Kudos to you!

    Deca Vids

Wow!!! That footage was awesome! Excellent work there. My only critisism is that there was too much Team Yellow in there What's DECA without footage of Pete going sideways at every possible opportunity?
  20. Happy Birthday! Hope you ava good one!
  21. I was thinking the same thing...
  22. Hey Mat! Thanks heaps for the footage mate. Looks ace! Will have to find you some webspace for you to upload it for me.
  23. ROFL!! As I said, Big Red is one of the coolest cars I have EVER been in and Handbags has set that car up really well (if traction is the last thing on your mind)! Getting all light over the hill on the Short Wang was hilarious coz Newton didn't expect it either!
  24. Hey Mat, Yeah, would really appreciate it if you could make something up in regards to footage of my car. YouTube is fine but if I really like it, I'll setup some webspace for you to upload it for me. How much space are we talking about? Thanks heaps!
  25. ROFL. Although the Evo is an ace car to drive (even though it's cheating), I don't think I'd buy one at this point. If I sell the R <fingers crossed>, I'm going to wait until 09 to decide what the replacement is going to be. I have 3 cars in mind but will have to see how they drive and what the finances are like when the time comes round.
