Just want to know what sort of boost a RB25 can handle with a standard bottom end? Also if anyone has any experiance with auto trans in r33, how much power can they handle before they fail? and How power loss compares between auto and manual trans in a 33? Any help would be appreciated.

It's like this.... I picked up some standard suspension to replace the coilovers in my gf's 33 because she said the ride was too 'rough' following so far?? Get home jack the car up remove the coilovers, alas the standard ones don't fit, i need to compress the springs. Ok I have a friend of mine 'borrow a set of spring compressors from his work. Now comes the good bit, with the spring compressors on the springs i can't get them in position. The only way i can see it being done is by un bolting the control arm, fitting the suspension then jacking it back up to compress the spring and strut so i can bolt the control arm back together, The question is this.... am i mildly retarded or is there i simpler way to do this???? Any help or ideas would be appreciatted

Seems like i will need to spend bucket loads to a car that is still not as quick as my XR6T. Not really a fair comparison i guess given differences is engine capacity and turbo size. For my 2cents it seems a bit redundant, what would be the benefit of me spending more on the R33 to get 300kw then i have to get 350kw out of my XR?????

I am really impressed by my R33 but just seems to keep developing little problems. The latest is as follows, Auto wont change, will change up as normal but sometimes just stays in 3rd. Only does it sometimes, 95% of the time it is perfectly fine. It has also taken to stalling as well. I guess my question is as follows would it be possible for a vac line to cause intermitent faults like this?? If not WTF could it be?? Help me please......................

Yeah cheers MADAZ, Already had a front mount on it, you wouldn't happen to know a good place to install the eManage, best to get it done profesionally done i am assuming. This may be a bit of a silly question but i am getting over 350rwkw out of my XR6T, i understand they are a bigger capacity motor but it is only with bolt on stuff, fuel pump, injectors, big cooler, flash tuner. I guess the question is this, how hard would it be to acheive 300rwkw out or the little RB25??

Thanks guys, more questions, Can you re map a R33 computer or do you need to run a piggy back setup? What sort of power would you expect to see out of an RB25 with tuning mods? What sort of boost will it handle with no internal mods? Assuming it runs standard turbo with big front mount cooler, pipe work, exhaust you know just the usual stuff. Any ideas appreciated........

A friend of mine just gave me two peices of gear for my R33 (well my girlfriends R33) A Blitz SBC i-color and a Greddy eManage ultimate Given that i am a skyline noob, is the R33 computer tunable or is it best to go with a piggy back setup? What benefit is the SBC i-color going to provide other that boost control? Any feedback would be appreciated............

Sorry to inturrupt guys but i have got g4 coilovers in my R33 and they need to be done so would i be correct in guessing the same info applies? And also what is a softish spring rate to run??? Bought the car for my girl but ride is crazy hard.
