  1. Wtf you on? Sorry to dig up an old post, but our cars are shit cheap compared to Aus. When I had my R34, I paid 6K for it in Japan and had it on the road in NZ for just over 7K... Look in Aus and R34's are stupid expensive. We have alot better cars here, alot more allowances for mods, etc. Btw, hi brock
  2. I used to have an Alpine X-001, which was iPod/USB only, that had the option of blue buttons/screen or red. Now I have a Pioneer similar to the DEHP7150UB, which is black and red, fits the M35 dash quite well.
  3. Will confirm tomorrow, que typical story of - mates girlfriends dad - used to be mates with owner of redline performance, who are D2 stockists
  4. $1400 NZD for D2(same as Ksport) So why go US?
  5. Yeh i've been pretty slack. I keep a log of RX7 maintanance but need to start with Stagea. Mind you, i'm very close to not servicing that damn thing and letting it blow up
  6. would be dead keen if you were in nz lol
  7. IMO Tein will give a better ride than BC all day long, obviously depending on the model. I'm most likely going to go the BC route just for money factor, but if I had the choice i'd be going Silkroad or Koni.
  8. I've semi-sorted the tiptronic. Wired in new switches but its only picking up 3rd. Yeh i'll put it through a scanner hopefully in the weekend. Talking to my boss who used to work at a nissan dealership said you just need to reset the procedure for the windows to re-learn it.
  9. Hey just got a few issues I wanted to put up and see if people had delt with before. 1. Auto window-up/down doesn't work, it goes up 5cms then drops back down, and usually when you take the key out they still work for a minute or so, doesnt work at all now once key is off. 2. Tiptronic doesn't work, doesn't even sense you've moved it to the manual slot. (Have pulled switches out, replaced with new ones, just waiting for auto sparky mate to finish off the wiring) 3. Fast wiper doesn't work, 1st click works (when you choose the speed), 2nd click works(medium speed) but not the last one (fast) If anyones had the same issues could you give some advice please? If not, I am getting my auto sparky mate to scan the car and have a look, so will post up the results then for future reference. Cheers
  10. I'm running a 18x9.5 with a 15 offset, fits perfect now... And I plan to run 10mm spacers once I lower too.
  11. Wicked, this opens up more options then.. Daiyama and Tanabe are a fair bit cheaper than BC, but only made for Z33
  12. Can't confirm, but been told the V35/M35 fuel gauge acts as a fuel consumption gauge too, so if you thrash it it'll say you have less but if you drive conservatively it'll give you more. But this could be 100% wrong, just what I heard through a random stagea/nissan convo.
  13. So that must mean V35 350GT coupe are different to V35 sedans etc? The box of for the bilsteins I had were labelled V35 and Z33
  14. Sorry for being a pain, my nets playing up so takes awhile to load otherwise i'd search. Two suspension shops have told me 350Z and M35 are same coilovers, how ever Nissan are saying no.. Looking at a pair of Bilsteins for 350Z/350GT I don't see why they wouldn't fit, but would like to confirm first. Has anyone tried/succesfully fitted 350Z/350GT shocks? Thanks P.s for a RWD M35
  15. Incase someone leaves their windows down on a frosty/winter night... I've done it Got in the car next morning inside windows and mirror frosted over haha
  16. My M35 has it too, as above, over time the heavy door just wears it out. Mind you, all the fibreglass and bog on my door won't help
  17. Just pull fuses out of the box till you find a blown one, if not then look at relay side of it. Will be under the hood somewhere.
  18. Pull off plastic cover around aircon/clock, take out the display, unclip the clear cover, clean. Why you'd waste time, I duno...
  19. Could anyone post up photos of their M35's on BCs? Preferably at lowest point, but not a biggy.
  20. Not today, but pulled intake plenum and stack off and clean out with brake clean/petrol. Sludge free! Replaced ribbed intake rubber with silicon joiner. Next mission, catch can so oil blow by doesn't go back into intake.
  21. It's not like you get any more respect for Trust/HKS/Chargespeed/Fast & Furious eyelids... And it's not like they have the logos on them. I can see when it comes to bodykits, etc, that you'd want genuine over cheap copy, but a tiny bit of headlight masking?
  22. If that was the case, how could people put 12A (Series 1 - 1979) rotaries into newer vans, bmws, etc... As pointed out, in NZ you can pretty much get away with anything, aslong as it's certified. Our laws are only just starting to get harsh, like exhaust noise, cat converter etc
  23. I don't get why people pay that much for eyelids, when vinyl does the same thing. I got some made up for my old Skyline from a graphic shop, $20 and colour matched.
  24. Sweet! Mine won't be so stagea looking soon. Coilovers going in soon, not sure in the engine department but will be manual and turbo, either a VK45 or RB26. Body-wise it will be all custom, i'm making my own kit for it, based off SuperGT/JGTC R35's.
