  2. did you fit the GTS-t discs as well,or just the callipers? if you used both,they DO fit on,as will pretty much any other 4 pot offering from late model skylines.   4. If those pics show your idea of a wheel fitting well within the guards,you need your eyes checked. they're both a good inch outside of them. I can see rim AND tyre protruding past the guard and the bumper,it's not inside. this isn't rocket science,it's either behind the metalwork,or it isn't. that isn't. not by a very long way. it's not being conservative either,it's trying to remain remotely legal. wheels hanging out of guards only works for offroad 4wds. contrary to whatever you want things to be like,this is Australia,and we're not bosozoku. you must have pretty lenient cops in your area,as noone up here would last five minutes with a 'fitment' like that.   15. the stator burned out in my series 2's alternator last year. I got a 2nd hand R33 unit from just jap for $120 and had mine stripped down and rebuilt by the sparkie at work using the stator out of the 33 alternator. he did the R&R and rebuild for $80,so it cost $200 all up. the part number is different between the R34/S2 stagea alt and the R33's,but they put out the same amount of current,and have the same connections and mounting points... I actually have driven an Rb20DET powered S13,and it was less than awe-inspiring. maybe back in the late eighties when an rb20 was a step up from the only engine silvias had,the CA18,it was worthwhile,but with the power SR20's can make nowadays,there's almost NO reason bar drag racing to go for the 6cylinder engines in silvias. how many well-worked-over SR20 silvias have YOU driven? STANDARD turbo S15's are good for high 12's. throw the same money you'll spend on the conversion into working an original equipment SR20,and you'll see similar times as you would with the mildly worked RB.   18. AFAIK pretty much nothing in the top end is interchangeable. the cams and injectors are different. exhaust manifold can be swapped though. ecu and loom are totally different. Why are you putting an RB25 into an S13? it ruins the handling and all the hassle isn't justified for just a 25. if you're building a straight out drag car,go directly to an RB26,skip the 25,you'll never be satisfied with it.   21. because what are they like quality-wise in comparison,and where else can you get pads from,and in what compounds? what about rebuild kits if a seal goes,or you damage a bleeder? they're the same reasons that I won't fit AP's or similar to a car I drive daily. it's not a good idea to use parts that have hard-to-source consumables. if you can't get pads at your local auto shop,or on a day's notice it's not a good idea. brakes are one area I wouldn't take risks. brembos are proven. G4's aren't. and if a lot of just jap's chinese made stuff is anything to go by,I won't be giving them a go. Justin...

I'm running R32 GTR brakes F+R with DBA 4000 series slotted rotors and Ferodo DS2500 pads. am using a Z32 master cylinder,and had hoses and lines for the front made up locally. this setup cost me just over a grand all up,and was well worth it,considering the next step up (brembos) are easily double the price. the R33 calliper sbolt straight on,but the hydraulics don't connect to them on either end. you'll need new hoses on the rear,and either source 4wd front hoses and lines from a wrecker,or make up some copper lines and custom hoses up front and bend these to suit,like I did.
