    Get yourself a few pairs of these >> http://www.signet.net.au/store/products/40857/ansell-hyflex-11-618-gloves-size-9-12-pairs-per-box or similar for working on the car, we have to wear gloves at work and I borrowed a few pairs for home. I've gotten so used to working in them I feel like something is missing if start playing with the car without gloves on.

    Yeah called that number and specifically asked for the Vintage Classic and Veteran policy, they didn't have the Stagea on their list of cars so the girl I spoke to had to talk to her boss and call me back. I made sure they knew it was an Autech 260RS and emailed them a list of all the modifications. Got a call back saying sorry we can't help you.

    Called the NRMA for a quote on insuring the Stagea, jumped through all the hoops and then was told the underwriter wouldn't cover it because it was a grey import and modified. Pretty annoying as I ticked all the boxes: over 25 yr old, stored in locked garage, bunch of other policies with them including daily driver. I'd be interested to hear what you insider has to say about this Terry.

    Spent the day stuffing around getting new tyres put on the Patrol/daily, some jerk slashed two tyres over night.

    Scotty's AFM deletes. Unfortunately the paint will take about 7 weeks to dry in Canberra during winter

    3.5 inch Ti exhaust from AM Performance, it's a bit louder than it is supposed to be but bloody hell it sounds good.

    Having had a Dolphin bar on the front of my wagon for a few years all I can say is don't do it. They have massive overhang and sit very low. Add lowered suspension and even the mildest speed hump/drive way/slight incline becomes a problem.
