Commonwealth bank is being sad to me, said cos I am a NZ Citizen and have lived here for less than a year, they said there is a RISK I will RUN back to NZ hahaha. But car finance companys seem more flexible some how. @Funkymonkey, will try give that a go lol.

Hmmm I see I see.... O well I guess I will have to work something out. Wanted to get a R34 GT Sedan for a daily +_+ Thanks mates!

Okay, So I recently got my car finance pre-approval for $20k or less. I went to Japcar.com.au to get a car from there. However, my finance provider told me that I cannot get used cars that are imported from overseas (known as grey import) Are all skylines imported? or are there skylines that were brand new and have been imported to Aussie? If so, what models? Anyone know any finance companies that will finance grey imports? I am in melbourne. Cheers.

^thanks guys. yeah will look into getting a 300gt if not 250gt
-
Hi guys, thx for all the input. Will post pics up when I get the car =) Am looking for 300gt but dunno if any exist here in melbourne lol. Am also considering the Lancer MY08 ES. Possibility I'll go for the 250gt as I need a car by the end of this month =)
-
Yeah, may consider buying from a dealer and getting car finance - Guess I'll be poor for a couple of years haha.

^ Cheers mate, that was really helpful. It sucks how I can't afford the V35 Coupe otherwise I would've gone for that straight up. Am considering the 250gt eh, don't really care bout which is faster as I won't be using it for racing o.O =)

Hi all, Just thinking of purchasing a daily + little mods on the car. Looking around 13k and below. So far I am looking at R34 Sedan and the V35 250GT Sedan models. What is more better in your opinion for a daily use car. + I would do some light mods e.g. pod, suspension, exhaust, rims. Never been on a V35 so I thought I might ask this section. I'm all ears

Hi guys, I've posted a couple of times and I was thinking of waiting for my work probation before I get a loan to buy a skyline for a budget of 15k. But I really can't wait and I've got around 5k to spare and really keen on a R32. Please what do you guys think of these 2 advertised currently just buy price - specifications? I've asked for nego down to $500 for each car, what do I need to look for when buying from a private seller? http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=11D9FDA972B0 http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=11D9FDA972B0 I await your replys, please any opinion is welcome. Edit - I meant above, I have emailed the seller and asked are you negotiable and asked for $500 below the asking price advertised.

Getting A New Skyline - Need Advice
Baruna replied to Baruna's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Hey everyone thanks for all your input. I am now looking online on manual driver instructors to grab a few lessons hopefully before i get a skyline. I heard the clutch can become a pain during peak times and that is wat most bothered me as i work business hours lol. Thanks all again. Edit: Anyone know how long it takes to learn to drive a manual confidently? I have been with autos for 6 years. Also, Is it cheaper to run a manual maintenace wise? I knowi ts more economical than driving an auto. -
Getting A New Skyline - Need Advice
Baruna replied to Baruna's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Thanks Conan, another great advice. Probably can't get a gtr cos they are too expensive n way over my budget. Am now considering getting manual lessons till im comfortable n then buy a gts or gtt. And yes, people here seem to sell some nice rides lol. -

Not a big fan of turbos...may be one once i get one tho haha. Highly considering the r34s, they are hot. Thanks for ur input! -

Hi guys, I hope I am posting in the right section. Brief History bout me on how noob I am: I have owned a Toyota Celica 97 Auto for 6 years Mods done: Neons GramLight Wheels 18" 3.5" Exhaust What I know: Change engine oil every 5000km's Car health check once a month Change tires when threads go flat I cannot drive a manual but I am keen to learn. Wanting to buy a skyline hopefully by the end of next month the latest (melb - victoria) I am looking at R32's but it seems automatics aren't that common for these models obviously. My budget is 15k - Incl all costs as well as car insurance. R32 - reliable? They are 89s-93s so I am wondering how much it will cost maintaining R32s. I am also up for r33s and r34s but the r32s somehow seem to grab my attention. Dealer or used? As I am a real noob with cars I am thinking of getting a skyline from a dealer but getting a r32 auto from a dealer is hard to find as well, i think i saw roughly around 5 online at the moment. Would anyone suggest me to get a manual r32? how long does it take to learn to drive manual ? Sorry for the blabbering, I am happy for any advice given.

Hi all, I already introduced myself in the Victoria section, but only saw this section now lol XD New to forums and new to skylines. Hoping to buy my new skyline within October. Ciao

Hello everyone, Used the search button but didn't find any threads on this awesome game. Anyone play? any Aussie guilds out there? And what are your thoughts on Guildwars 2?
-
Hi Hi everyone, thanks for all the feedback! its great that the people in this forum are so caring. Cause I am still on work probation, my banker suggests me I get a loan (as I require some $$$$) after my probation is up. So...probably won't get one for about a month from now... Didn't know there was a seller section in this forum as well, thanks for the heads up.
