  1. That is cheap as. Do you still get to keep the trip computer eg petrol usage etc?? Also how long did it take them to install?
  2. is the construction business code for something else??, i mean by the looks of it you have 0 qualifications in the trade business and that is some decent money you will be receiving after tax, which means you are likely in the $80,001 - $180,000 bracket before tax. Maybe your brother owns a business and he is helping lil bro out, im not really sure of your circumstances. Also if you are considering a career in journalism will you be able to handle the construction industry? it means 5:00am standard wake ups to be at the job site by 6:00am. If I were you I would, as someone above mentioned save and buy a shit box. By a crappy ute to help you out with your "construction" work =P. If you want to pursue a university degree later it would be best to pay outright for your degree and not go on HECS so saving will help. You also mentioned getting into real estate which I cannot recommend enough. But to be successful you need to save a deposit of at least 10%-20% and you will need to show the bank you have the capabilities of saving. (+ now is not a good time to buy in realestate save and see where the market goes)
  3. How much we talking if you dont mind. So does that mean they are going to have to buy a new console to fit the Double Din unit in or are they going to cut out the plastic and install the unit?. Also did they say how long it would take to do? EDIT: Sorry i was thinking of the v35 not the v36 console..
  4. Get a grounding kit, from what I have herd on the g35 driver forums is that a gronding kit on an automatic makes a big difference.
  5. wtf >< thats awesome, have you got your self as a nominated driver or something because 1.5k is pretty good especially with a loss of license.
  6. Because your supplying the parts you will just be paying for labour. So it depends on what the mechanic wants to charge you. i wouldn't pay anything $100+.
  7. i have a 350gt, looks like they dont cover it. =(, i checked how much if i applied for a 350z and it was $4032...................
  8. 38000 on the speedo ><, looks a bit fishy. Although winding back of speedo's is common for imports and takes place over in Japan before they are shipped to Australia. Check all the log books. If he has non, just get the car inspected =D
  9. Ye i checked out g35 driver as well might end up getting the end links as well. Anyone else =D????
  10. how do these days work? my car is stock at the moment but going to have a crap load of mods going in soon so would be good to get a before and then later down the track compare. Do i just rock up??
  11. tried to send you a pm but got an error saying you could not receive any new messages. What i wanted to know was some details on the slotted rotors you have got for sale. What brand are they and where did you get them from. eg USA or locally. Also will they fit a 2004 Coupe? THANKSS btw about the headlights i was after 2006+
  12. I think scathing needs a hug
  13. My A hole feels sore after that >< But by your reply it does prove that anything different is frowned upon in the hard core "car enthusiast" community I think its a case of if I cant have it then no one can. The gtr/aston martin/Lambo doors are all real expensive items. Do what you want with your car and disregard what anyone says. In the end its to get the chicks braa :rofl:not impress a few car enthusiasts.
  14. <--------------------Im in
  15. Do i need the Duty Ball Link's if I buy the sway bars? or can i just replace the stock sway bars with these. Or is it recommended to install the Duty Ball Link's if you change the sway bars. Im not very sharp on the Suspension of cars, anyone able to help out letting me know what the Duty Ball Link's exactly do.
  16. Honestly i think every v35 owner goes through this once they get their ride. As you did, we do a bit of research and come across the hoards of tolls saying how ricer it is and get turned off ><. Also its expensive + the car is my daily which was the main turn off for me. In Australia i think it is extremely unique to have the gtr or the aston martin body kit and you will always get compliments from everyone. Its those few car enthusiasts who think anything modified is ricer and if they dont approve of it then its shit.
  17. thanks for the constructive feedback everyone
  18. Hmm insurance industry, maybe you could help me with something and then ill be your friend =D Have you ever seen a claim rejected for minor things such as: - Tint being below 35% - Modifications which are legal but are not declared to the insurance company. - Minor modifications such as having a pod or uncovered intake/which is illegal but no one gets defected unless they are being an ass to the cop - Driving a prohibited vehicle for P plater's, EG turbo - Someone lied when signing up to their insurance company about their accident history or license suspensions -Also do all insurance companies share a database with information on everyone about previous claims etc??? Please dont tell me yes you "will" have your claim denied for the above things. I want to know if you have ever seen claims denied or reduced for the above thing. THANKSSS
  19. Just ordered a stillen intake from the states inc Z pipe. Stock is too quite for me, maybe consider upgrading to a new intake instead of spending $80-$100 on just the filter.
  20. what else you got =D? chance of having headlights or tail lights?
  21. Hey, new to track days. Will be starting soon once i get a few parts for the car. 2 things I want to know: 1) Insurance - I know on tracks its considered void, is it the same story for these days as its being run by the Advanced Driver Training Australia's. 2)When does the day start and end? and over the day how many 15 minute intervals will you be on the track? Thanks =D
