Meatbag

So I managed to break a drivers side strut on my dr30 and I've having a hell of a time finding something to replace it. If anyone knows of front struts that either bolt up or can be fitted without tearing apart my entire car you would be my best friend. The suspension to swap in doesn't have to be fancy just something that will get my car back on the road. Also I'm Canada so buying parts is limited to north american models mostly. Oh and it's specifically the lower strut tube that broke, right above where it bolts to the steering arm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (BTW car is a japanese spec 1983 DR30 RSX)

Bleh, no luck yet. Could some kind spare a minute if they are at the parts store? If I could get a Nissan part number for the struts I could probably work it out for myself. In fact an aftermarket part no would probably work. On a side note, does my DR30 have the same struts as, say, a MR or an HR?

So I'm one of those hopeless people that imported a Skyline into Canada and finding parts is a nightmare. I was wondering if you folks could direct me to a website/online parts catalog that has a compatibility or interchange kind of thing. Or if someone knows off the top of thier head that would be sweet also. (btw, ruined a front strut on my 83 DR30, jap model, and I'm trying to find a compatible one to replace it available in Canada. not an upgrade mind you, just a replacement.) Thanks in advance
