I wouldnt get an amp. I had Kenwood 7x10 HQ's running off mine and they sounded great I couldnt even turn the headunit right up. Now I use the headunit with the standard GTR Speakers which also works well. Not quite as good as the 7x10's but these GTR speakers are older now I guess

Apparently theres a new R32 in Townsville with NSW plates MR32. modified. anyone else seen it? Anyone entering in WOW in April?

Never use MXpander on mine, great sounding unit I always recommend it to ppl. I use mine with just the standard GTR speakers ATM and still sounds great. used to have 7x10's hooked up to it.

well I have all the R32 bits cause I just removed the compressor. and that reminds me a mate just wrote off his vl with working air con. That will be my second option

A mate is checking the compressor out for me next week. If it turns out to be completely stuffed I will start chasing a replacement. I have got the airflow meter repaired by plastic welders. Thanks for all the help.

How much were u after for them? I am getting the plastic welding done for 30 dollars. Im guessing you would want a whole lot more than that.

We slipped it out without removing anything like that. My mate is going to look at it when he gets back to town. Probably rebuild it if possible. Then the R12 regassing is free.

Did the AC compressor sell? mine has just packed it in. I am assuming they are the same for all R32's.

The Compressor has blown the bung at the rear a few days ago. Whenever the system is pumped up the gas just leaks from the rear of the compressor. Yesterday we removed it, what options do I have for finding a replacement 12A compressor? any help greatly appreciated

As subject says. My compressor has packed it in on the AC. I have also discovered a crack in one of my airflow meters on the inlet side. Thanks Jonathan

Im just putting a tube in the mag with the small crack on the inside for now. I removed it yesterday and its very small. I got my stereo in as well. There was a birdnest of wiring from a previous stereo but i sorted it all out now.

The cars going great, alot better than the calais. Im used to slowing down for every corner and bump, when this thing just flies through them. The Air Con compressor died. Theres a bung type thing in the back that just leaks the gas out now whenever we pump it up. I now need to find a R12 compressor for my car. Im going to try a few places today, we removed it yesterday after finding where the leak was. I wont be driving it this week though. I left the car in the garage at my gf's cause the air flow meter is also cracked, has been repaired in the past. Its on the inlet side and is doing the job, but im going to fix it while im getting the ac up and running again.

Fixed, I used the earth from the Standard Tape Deck, which it didnt like.

I installed a headunit into my R32 GTR and now the dash lights and tail lights are not working. There was a birdnest of wiring behind the std tape deck (previous stereo installed and removed). I initially thought it was a fuse, so I checked every fuse under the steering column to find not faults. Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

I got the car yesterday morning it drives great. Unbelievable to drive. I dont think the aircon liked the Townsville weather yesterday. I think I killed something, getting it checked out. The only things im chasing now is a Replacement mag and a left air vent. They were both outstanding items when I bought the car, price was adjusted accordingly on the purchase price. Already got them put aside at Japparts Sydney. Is there a closer place to go for spares? at decent prices
