  1. Thought id post this up incase anyone was wondering. $85k for the base G37. Less then i expected, but still too much.. Further to my previous correspondence, I have attached a pre-launch brochure for you for now and hope to have the full brochure, with specifications, available within the next 10 days. Pricing was released this week for the new model and is set at $84,970.00 for the GT Premium Coupe, $92,950.00 for the S Premium Coupe and $97,570.00 for the S Premium Convertible; these figures all become more impressive when I highlight that they are inclusive of all on road costs making the G Coupe and Convertible extremely compelling alternatives to the status quo. Our demonstration models arrived yesterday and are available to drive at your convenience. I will be in touch throughout the week to see if I can help any further; please let me know if I can answer any questions or help to arrange a drive for you at any stage. Many thanks, Bla Bla Infiniti Centre Sydney
  2. interesting.. It does looks like a remote start thing.. It could be also to shut the car down if its stolen. Although if the thief isnt an idiot (but i guess they mostly are), then he could find the cable behind the antenna and cut it.. Seems overly complicated though, I would have thought most car thefts these days occur directly after they have stolen your keys first.. so if that thing is hanging off your keys, not much good..
  3. The one on the drivers side is for a panasonic tv tuner (probably dealer fitted). The tuner itself was located at the top of the boot in my car (but they could have put it anywhere) FYI its useless in Australia but good thing is you can remove it and use the wiring to install an aussie compatible one. The thing on the passenger side i have not seen before. Im assuming its a antenna for mobile phone. The little tiny little things in the corner are ultrasonic sensors for the alarm. hope this helps
  4. Zac from Cypher works at Duncan Nissan in Vic Park now. I think he's the Forman. I took mine there a couple of weeks ago and requested that he do the job.
  5. Nice.. do you know if hawk pads are any good?
  6. Yeah thanks for that. I know what you mean, most suppliers cant be stuffed doing there homework about different models. Unless its a Crappadore, forget about it.. Its funny you mention the DBA 4000's they were my next pick.. Ive seen a lot of good reviews on them and they actually come up cheaper then buying stock rotors from nissan.
  7. there not a no name brand... but they dont fit anyway so forget it.. Do you think Nissan make there own rotors? I doubt it.. If you have OEM rotors is you life at risk because they are a no name brand? Give me something useful or save yourself the effort.
  8. thanks clearing that up Ross. I thought ALL 370z's had the big brake setup the same as S and SP v36's?? It seems maybe not the case. According to this ad some 370z's came with a "standard" brake package which these rotors are intended for... I think they might have put 370z on the ad by accident and its meant to be 350z.. I googled the part number and it comes up with 350z/murano... Sean thanks for the 2c. Not the advice i was after though.. Im not looking at doing bathurst anytime soon. I just want to replace my OEM rotors with same or slightly better without getting raped by the 5 million % markup that perth businesses like to add on. Im open to suggestions if you have any.
  9. Hi guys, need some advice. Im 99% sure these will fit on my car. v36 coupe SP (akebono brakes).. Check ebay link: http://www.ebay.com....19d447e18b#shId I wanted to double check before i commited to the purchase so i emailed the seller.. This was the response: "We dont have anything for the V36 skyline, if the 370z rotors fitted, the RDA catalog would have also specified the V36." What do you think? So far any brake places ive spoken to dont know jack about the v seriers skylines and im starting to think these guys are the same.. cheers Tom
  10. Shiva, i'll try and put this into perspective for you. To change the colour of your car completely, you need to paint inside the doors/boot/engine bay etc. That means they will need to take out the engine and interior. Thats a lot of labour, and the whole job could cost between 5k - 10k. They might also f**k your interior in the process and not put shit back together properly. In my opinion its not worth it. Your better off selling your car and buying the colour you like. Your other option would be stick as close as possible to black. ie just change to black pearl over the top and a new coat of clear to freshen your paint up. It will look brand new when its done, the only thing is the pearl wont be in the engine bay or inside the doors.. Nobody would even notice that. You could probably get this done for around 2k for a good job. (FYI you could probably get it done for less but it will show...) Also from your questions, it sounds like you dont have any painting experience so i dont reconmend doing it yourself.
  11. None of those 3 is mine.. I pulled that pic from the MYG37 forum. Its a pretty involved and time consuming modification to get the LED's into the headlights like that. The main problem being, if one little LED blows, you will need to take your car apart again to fix it. The results are so nice though!! My lights are stock right now apart from LED parkers. I was lucky and managed to retain factory HID setup though..
  12. Pretty cool. Did you do it yourself? Reminds me of this look.. Got any low light pics?
  13. Audi wannabe is the first thing that comes to mind. Although I love the Look of the "iron man" v36 headlight mod.. Wish it was easier to do though.
  14. In "D" mode the V35 is the best auto gearbox ive come across. Really smooth and 99% of the time chooses the right gear with little delay. In my opinion its better then the 5 speed in the V36 (in auto mode). But in sport mode the V36 one is better.
  15. Another good reason to rebadge to infiniti.. I was missunderstood there a bit by Seano350GT. What i said was skyline drivers dont recognise the V series as real skylines.. Not that i dont get recognised as a skyline driver... I couldnt care less if i dont get recognised as a skyline driver for exactly this stigma you talk about. the fact is, although R and V series are both great cars, they are quiet different in many ways. Like you said "The Max", the V series is very much more about luxury then the R series therefor not everyones cup of tea. Personally i love the V series for the same reason you do, because you get the best of both worlds..
