  4. Yeah I think ultimately I'll hold onto my R32 GTST and eventually buy an R32 GTR. GTST will become the track/daily drive, GTR will be the weekender.

  8. So my car will be due to have its rego swapped over in July this year and I have a limited understanding/inside knowledge of how I should approach compliance. I've had someone tell me that there are two options; RAC or Licensing. Has anyone had experience with RAC? Also, if your going to be defected upon inspection, what do the assessors target? And what will they not care about? Maybe also is there a licensing centre that is more relaxed than others?

  14. Hey guys, So a mate of mine reckons that if you have a CAMS licence, you are able to obtain a permit to drive a "race use only import" on the road. This would be for the sole purpose of travelling to and from events/workshops but could obviously be embelished a little Is this true? Or is this a twisted version of the truth?
  15. Don't bother camming an RB20 unless your making BIG power (300 rwkw+). Also if you are going to cam, go custom, don't bother with PON Cams - they're poorly made and I've heard loads of troublesome tales about camming the rb20 with Tomei Pon Cams. If you want good power gains on your RB20 slap on a Z32 AFM, FMIC, Bigger turbo, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, full exhaust, plazmaman plenum and a 6boost turbo manifold. I'm waiting on the plenum and turbo manifold to go in and I should see 280rwkw

  20. Hey guys, Guess I'm a bit bored and have nothing better to talk about... When I depress my pedal at a stand still I will feel a bit of a notch in the pedal as i push it down harder and hear a slight clicking sound from the front right. My first thought was a backing plate had a bit of space between the pad and the piston and upon a hard pump of the brake pedal it would be forced back, flush with the piston. What do you reckon?   21. If you have all the other big power mods, an aftermarket plenum gives a good performance gain mate.
  22. Nismo or Plazmaman. Nismo if you like the old school cast styling or you can spend roughly the same and get a f**king awesome looking (and performing) polished stainless plenum and throttle body. I'm ordering my Plazmaman soon, looking forward to it immensley. 20% Power gain is usually typical. I've got 230rwkw with the stock plenum....go figure FYI an RB26DETT plenum is designed for an RB26DETT engine.
