  1. Car was happily sold at the end of October to an enthusiast, so all good!
  2. Couldn't tell you who it was just a sale guy at justjap. The dampers are inside the coils so I imagine it makes piss all difference to rim clearance. Mounting would be the same I imagine. Call justjap to confirm though but I can't see it being much differece, if any.
  3. and I was beginning to think I was dreaming on price... do those stikkas come off?
  4. keep going up... :-) I have to buy something that's not a knackered camry/ falcon/ conformadore to put my baby in. don't make his/ her first wheels be boring...
  5. Oh look: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/378419-qld-1996-r33-gts-t-s2-manual-coupe-102k/ Please have a look, if you can find a little more cash and are in a position to buy now then please let me know and we can arrange something. I'm not that far away...
  6. Actually, I'm over bumping this up. Someone make a decent offer more than a f*kn car yard scumbag will offer for a trade in and it's yours. Otherwise I'll f*kn crash or torch the f*kker myself... which would be a sin for such a nice clean unthrashed example but hey ho. I"m over-insured, f*kkit.
  7. Price drop! $9,999!!! OMG Bundy is like 3.5 hrs drive from civilisation, it's not that far. f**k, I'll even drive halfway...
  8. I've been running the BR series in my r33 gts-t for 12 months now. Done about 15,000km of city/ country road driving. The justjap guy said the difference between the BR and the V1 (cheaper one) was a bigger diameter damper, he said if you were gonna track then a bigger volume shock wouldn't heat up as quick. That and the fancy gold instead of red. :-) Had no dramas, they are pretty stiff springs but the damping adjustment range is huge. I tend to go between 10-15 depending on where i'm driving. Haven't gone below 20 as it rolls around too much for my liking. Mine did start to squeak/ creak at the front but it's normal to go back and re-tighten new suspension anyway after a while. I tightened the lower lockring (which hadn't budged, got maybe 1/16th of a turn in) and did the same for the upper 2 lockrings. (got maybe 1/4 turn in). Also tightened top mounts too and all noise disappeared. So if anyone else having noise issues get in there with spanners and make sure everything is tight!
  9. Oh look... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/378419-qld-1996-r33-gts-t-s2-manual-coupe-102k/ Have a look and lemme know. :-)
  10. Now with a free set of steak knives! Call in the next hour and get two for the price of one!* *that part is a blatant lie.
  11. Car is in sunshine coast, mooloolaba today and tomorrow. Call me if u wanna come have a look. Don't let me trade this in at some car yard where a dealer will make 5k selling it on for way more than it worth to some poor unsuspecting buyer! Plus, the less I get for it the less baby clothes, toys and stuff we can buy for our baby. Imagine, a poor little baby running around in rags, being driven around in a shabby torago that we traded the skyline in for... Poor little baby. :-)
  12. Bump Runs and handles like new! Nothing to be spent. 6 months rego. Non smoking owner. No flood or hail damage. Free bottle of rain-x included! Not sure why not even a bite at 10k I'm open to offers. Do I need to add a free set of steak knives and a massage to make the sale?
  13. Sounds like ecu is in limp mode. Maybe your abs unit duff as that's what usually controls the TCS. Check ur fuses for everything. Read the codes with the paperclip etc. If you were closer and could find a grand I'd straight swap you for my r33 Gts-t which has nothing wrong with it, runs perfectly and comes with 6 months rego. U know you wanna swap... :-)
  14. Hmm researching some more... I'll take $10,000 or close to so please offer away.
  15. Just added 6 months rego... still offers around $11,000. Bundy is only 3.5 hours from Brisbane and I can arrange inspection at RACQ locally so you don't even have to drive to inspect.
  16. Such a lovely car, I'd buy it if it wasn't already mine and I had to sell it for family reasons.
  17. Bump. Open to swaps for something more economical/ less fun. 4 door, 4 cyl/ v6, economical...........................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, sorry fell asleep. But yeah, swaps of something similar in value < 150km
  18. Bump. I think it's well priced although I'll entertain offers or opinions on the price - PM only please. :-)
  19. Thanks, GTST :-) I guess people do put the price at the end usually though eh. I like to get the news out first though as I generally ramble a lot. I'm sorry to see her go and if it wasn't for the fact that my pregnant wife hates being jiggled around and it's a nightmare to put a baby seat into, I'd be keeping it. Have owned for a year now and can't fault it, fantastic mid-range and drive-ability around the town and country roads round here, with the exhaust, filter, single-stage boost and all the money I've spent getting the engine just right. Has had 1 previous owner who imported at 76k around 2-3 years ago. If I was keeping it, then I guess I'd be looking at a Nistune or simliar, boost controller etc. I skipped putting an FMIC on mainly due to the law in QLD and I preferred throttle response to top-end power, given it's a daily and not a track car. Also purposely chose non-staggered wheels so I can rotate the tyres (Hey, I'm 35 and these things make sense now and my wife drives it mostly).
  20. Also has K&N pod filter (6 months old). Just reoiled for oil change. Also have stock airbox but no snorkel.
  21. Some pics. Note, height is 345 rear, 355 front just now, can go much lower if you like - just not practical around here with speedhumps etc. Ask any questions you like, offers over PM please.
