Yeah i think that will be my first option, if i can tuck the wires neatly enough under the head liner and trim i'll just leave it like that. Does the wire stay under the head liner without any adhesives or clips/ties?

Hey everyone, Bought myself a "dash cam", It's a small camera that is quite nicely hidden behind the rear view mirror to capture the drive ahead. The problem i have is that i can't think of a good way to make the power cable for it tidy and out of site, The cable just goes to from Mini USB to the cigarette lighter. Is there anyone that has an idea of how i could do this? Possibly running the cable along or under trim to get towards the cigarette lighter? Had a look to see if anyone has written up anything about it before with no luck, Any help would be great! Car is a 2000 R34GTT Coupe, as a note if it helps... it has a stock sunroof and the stock triple gauge cluster above the A/C.

Nice and clean white 33 in Epping was turning onto Findon Rd from Meadow Glen Drive around 3:15pm. Two guys in the car and i'm fairly sure it had a SAU sticker on the small drivers side window. Waved but don't think i was seen

Overtake you?

Washed, used clay bar, washed again and used some wax today. As you can tell it's a very stock 34 Don't know why the last pic is so off centre

There is no point in reporting him to the Police, They will tell you to report it to the "Hoon Hotline" or some such nonsense. Im a supervisor at a call centre where we do afterhours escalations, Dr's paging, Emergency management + insurance claims. We ALSO take calls for "1800NOHOON" & the Casey Hoon Hotline. I'll tell you right now that nothing gets done as the same bored old people call through the same shit all the time, After working there for 2.5 years i have also noted that around 80% of the calls are for Commodores and around 5% for Skylines. The local station gets a report of these calls, I'm pretty sure they just file it all.

Daco replied to Daco's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Thanks for the replies guys. I love the feeling of DIY but there is no chance i'm submitting my pride and joy to my painting skills.... haha I'll be popping in to my local shop then after NYE and if it's near the $300 mark i'll book it in. I'll post pics with updates and a rating on the shop after it's done as well -

After 7 years of driving with no scrapes or accidents (i've caused) i've finally done some damage to my car Happened while leaving works car park, The wall i touched is a really rough textured wall which did a great job at taking off A LOT of paint. Seeing the damage makes me feel sick and i want to get it repaired asap, i don't have too much time getting multiple quotes and would like some help with a ballpark figure in what a repair should cost me as i don't want to get ripped off. My mate thinks it would be around the $300 mark but i have no idea... if anyone is able to help with a price range it would be great. The car is: 2000 R34 GTT, 2 door, Paint is QM1 (Cloud White i believe?), ~86,000km's Photo's below...

Got this as a present, Looking forward to my first proper clean and minor detail! Haven't gotten any polishing products yet as i don't have a buffing machine (tad unsure of using one in case i screw up my paint anyway)

^ i was going to say the same thing!

Sorry for your loss Dan and Tony, Had my stock R34 4 door stolen mid September (all that was left was the ignition barrel and glass). Car still hasn't been recovered, Pain in the arse is that i have custom plates... and now have a 2000 R34 GT-T 2 door in the same colour. Been pulled over and had to explain to police twice now, Shame they can't do anything about the plates still showing up stolen on their system. I hope they catch these people before more and more get stolen, worst feeling. Oh and i'm actually in the northern suburbs (South Morang) myself
-
Anyone up Northern way? (South Morang, Mill Park or Bundoora) Surprised i haven't spotted anyone or vice versa
-
Thanks for the reply mate, Have changed the spark plugs with no avail (problem persisted), definitely missing on boost but once i noticed something wasn't right i didn't really want to push the car too hard. Only modification is adjustable coilovers, apart from that it's completely stock. Plugs are factory at the moment. I'm fairly certain it's the coil packs as it feels exactly the same as my last car's issues
-
Hey everyone, i know this is going a few pages back... but regarding coil packs and issues with them; Mine on my R34GTT seem to have started playing up (shaking, mainly noticeable on idle) and car has far less power than normal. This happened to my previous R34GT and i replaced the whole lot with Yellowjackets, this fixed the problem. I've ordered some replacements but my main concern is if i'm doing any damage to the car by driving it around before i receive/install the replacements. Because i know there's a problem i am driving it like a nancy boy as i'm worried i'll screw something up.
