  1. imagine it doing that on a set of lights with cops behind you looooool
  2. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151909996226874&set=vb.185851534785624&type=2&theater casually going overfacebook i see this on 7tune. How do you get the flames like that just wondering
  3. ohhh memories I remember that mission when CJ had to kill some dude to take the costume off him, and then used it to impress the girl. I used to love GTA San Andreas.
  4. Whilst looking for something else on ebay i ran into this. Im pretty sure that your car Matt http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-RB25-NEO-R34-Turbo-Inlet-Manifold-Plenum-Plazmaman-/161055952063?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item257faeccbf&_uhb=1
  5. I should be running outer space quite soon when I fit a new plenum, hopefully not too much. Another update, got my wheels back from powdercoating. Gotta say they look brilliant. The best part is that I only spent $40 a wheel to get them painted.
  6. i paid him half. However I ended up taking to Mobile Fabrications for powdercoating this is what they look like now. Absolutely pleased with how they turned out.
  7. Finallly got to install my flex fuel sensor, its all hooked up and everything but i havent tuned the car for E85. So at the moment im just finishing off my fuel system. All i have to do is upgrade the old fuel lines so they wont corrode, when i do the full transition to E85. Currently my fuel temps are lingering around 20-36 degrees during light commute duties. Not sure if i wasted money with the fuel cooler. Its use might come into play during the summer season. Managed to fab up a simple bracket to hold the flex fuel sensor next to the fuse.Had to remove the brake cylinder stopper as im still in the process of making spacers that will go inbetween the BCS and the brake for the sensor.
  8. not sure why but in Canberra we are allowed to drive turbo cars im still on my P's. But you have to sit a 2 or 3 day class before getting your Ls. I guess if they do this in any other state they might want to add a defensive driver course or something along those lines. Would like to know the statistics of P plater related accidents in Canberra and compare with NSW as a ratio.
  9. anyone ever taken out the turbo to replace the gasket??? how on earth did they manage to do up the bolts.
  10. Yh true didn't they were good enough to cool it to a decent level. I'm going to be looking into a few kits out there
  11. How effective are the fuel coolers though, are they like intercoolers which are about 85-90% effective. I guess it also depends with where theyre mounted too.
  12. looking at what SK wrote ive been thinking about how this can be done without using the airflow meters. With my upgraded Nismo pump pumping 4.7l/min, I foresee the future of having boiling fuel problems. Specially when this car is also used for light daily duties. I have a Vipec that is yet to be installed, it will be using a MAP sensor instead of a MAF sensor, not sure if i can also use the MAP as the input to controlling the pump. So far ive found the aeromotive controller, uses the RPM as a control method. http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-page/accessories-electronics/16306-billet-fuel-pump-speed-controller/ I could set the RPM change at 3800 which means i can cruise on the highway at low RPMS but when it is time to play the voltage kicks up to the full voltage. Then the pump screams, I t also has a bypass switch so i can turn on the high voltage full time when im on the track. My only concern is that some DC pump are designed to run at 12vdc however giving them less voltage could actually damage them quicker.
  13. Sydney Kid posted a thing that you can wire to your airflow meter as voltage increases it allows more current to the pump. This however im not sure how it would work with Vipec I have a vipec too and would like to know how i can vary the voltage received by the pump depending on how i drive. Another option would be a fuel cooler but i dont see them being very effective for temp drop, they do help though
  14. ill put a bracket where the Brake Cyliinder stopper is and mount the sensor there shouldnt need longer lines hopefully.
  15. i received mine too and was wondering where illl put my sensor but decided to put it next to the fuse box. Where did you get your 12v from. Did you splice into the cigarette lighter
  16. theres a guy that can powder coat a wheel for $110 https://www.facebook.com/billy.adams.5477
  17. Just took my spare LMGT to Naz at Kustom Motor Finishes dont think he even knows how prep and paint wheels, looks like a rushed job. He didn't paint the inside because he think its not seen, well if something is not seen doesn't mean it should not be given some sort of attention.
  18. Got a new action cam from Jaycar decent frame rate too. Just need to find a better place to place it on the aerodynamic skyline to avoid the wind noise.
  19. dude try michelin ps3 or even bridgestone re001 andrenalin. I can almost drive the same way as i do when its dry.
  20. Managed to do a boost leak test using Hanaldos technique, no leaks on the intake side were found. It was a funny moment when the dip stick shot out because I pressurized the system a bit too much. While i was away the bits to the fuel system arrived. Ended up swapping the Nismo pumps reason being that the GTR pump flows at 4.6l/min whereas the GTT flows at 4.1l/min. The extra cc would probably help me to not run out of fuel lol. I found out that the GTR pumps do not come with a cradle, tried modifying the stock cradle but due to the size of the pump this was not possible and the buzz would be insane. For a few bucks managed to get a seller on ebay to separate the cradle from the pump and this made the installation of the new pump a 30min job straight plug and play. When i get time will be slapping in the injectors and wiring up the flex fuel sensor then take it for a tune. My fuel system should be enough for the killerwasps im chasing. Got the ASNU1100cc, been stalking the GTR threads where they have been praised, for $750 with plug in adapters thought it was quite a good deal. Will be getting a tune though and see how they fair.
  21. i have a smaller profile at the rears and i get the SLIP light at speeds above 100. 235/40/18 and 265/35/18
  22. Wait so you have no engine fan atm Matt?
  23. ofcoarse you can run any brake size with 19s
  24. anyone want to purchase Federals 595 RSR. 255/35/40 semi slick only selling as I have a bigger profile at the front and its messing with my ABS. Heaps of grip could sell for 200 for both
