  1. I actually wanted to do that for my Uni project. You can either write a programm that would sense changes in G forces to activate it in terms of lifting it up when cornering. Another option is if you can get access to the circuit that triggers the brake lights you could put hydraulic pistons that would be lifted when the brake lights are engaged. When you disengage them you might need some sort of digital capacitor with enough voltage to drop the spoiler down after you let go of the brakes. As for higher speeds if you have a digital speedo you can log the circuit to open once you get to that speed. The reason why i dint do it was the cost. You could spend that on a crazy big brake setup and custom suspension work. P.s you might want to calculate the drag coefficient that your air brake might create and see if you get much stopping resistance out of it. But otherwise or the satisfaction of designing that would be awesome.Defs you should have some pics man.
  2. spotted a 32 on Monaro Highway you 32 guys should have a look at this http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/rosewater/cars-vans-utes/1993-nissan-skyline-gt-r-godzilla-bnr32-will-swap-new-bike/1014209497

  5. Spotted a silver 34 with Ps, on Isabella drive going towards the Chisholm shops.
  6. Forgot to put the images of the little cables seals to make it waterproof as water could seep in and screw up your fuses. thats what it looks like when it all in. thats the cable seal i used.
  7. as i said i prefer those for simplicity of an anologue setup ten years down the line it will still be working but the digital new stuff, too much variables. With cracking place it under the lining but i really doubt that it would crack. Each to their own.
  8. where it comes in from under the lining. you can fish out the cable or just poke it through and hope that it comes out next to the fuses. Its doable without having to fish it out if you prefer not to. the grommet rubber lining dont forget to put a fuse inline you can purchase the inline fuses from jaycar or audio shops.Prefer the old tech cylindircal ones as theyre also water tight and very simple screw and go.
  9. Saw a silver R33 on the Canberra bound side of Hume Highway and a black 33.
  10. Nah Richard its a long story. that dude caused a crash and fled the scene so I followed him. If you saw the Obrien vehicle across the servo that flipped, the horse float driver caused it.I thought he was going to stop but he didn't.So I just bolted after him to get his plates. He looked mental so I stayed in the car till he left then I got out to take pics of the horse thingy. Funny thing is that I was thinking if he doesn't stop before the cameras I have to slow down to 80 then speed up to get a pic of his plates. If I didn't, was definitely going to loose my license being a P plater and vigilante actions are against the law.
  11. i figured some people just say it fits but they wouldnt do that to their cars. If it possible people should try test fitting and seeing if its possible or trust those with pics otherwise man you could serioslu get some bad offsets which you cant return.
  12. just did this too i found it easier with removing guard liner you get so much room to work with too.
  13. spotted a green R33 on Ashley drive.nice bonnet!
  14. Could have been me. jokes havent driven mine around for a while
  15. the last secs are amazing.Almost sounds like an F1
  16. So its the same as R34GTT i thought you needed some sort of puller to get the balancer out
  17. did you see the pics i posted 18 x 9.5 +20 at the back will be flush. If you want to have a bigger tyres to utilise the grip of a 9.5 then get a 30.
  18. man i think 8 is a bit too much imo i have michelin pilot sport 2 those are a 8. I can push them and they still hold theyre beautiful in the wet too. i tried taking a turn multiple times that i turn off before getting home and theyre not predictable. i would give the achilles 6/10 dry wet 5/10
  19. if i die its you to blame hehe, jokes thanks for the info. ill push with caution and get better tyres to compansate
  20. just dont want the sidewall collasping on me on a hard corner. I may have to get 245 to be safe then but how much bigger is the 245 than the 235 on the sidewalls "5mm"?.want little to no scrubbing issues
  21. just wondering can it be dangerous tracking a car with 9.5inch wheels with a 235/40/18 tyre fitted?
  22. as i was exiting the richardson roundabout, i think i went over an oil patch and my car went sideways freaky shit. then in he middle of the struggle to gain control I spotted a black r34.i would like to thank the guys at fifth gear, otherwise would have panicked and written my car off

  24. <p>Pictures to GHO5T as promised a bit of poke as you can see.The rears are fine i reckon but the fronts have a bit too much poke but I can deal with that, just not flush 18 x9.5 +25F +20R rolled the back bur the front a bit of a guard roll still have a guard liner intact and rubbing only when cornering really hard.No problems on full lock.
