  1. Yeah, if you can't beat em..... been building the Sierra for far too long as got too carried away with it. The 32 is supposed to rekindle the love to help me finish the Sierra. Working so far! 32 is a very nice road car.
  2. One more before bed - sorry for BBS assault. Hope to meet some fellow GTRheads.
  3. BBS LM's awesome on a 33 - not sure on a 32. More pics?
  4. Yep - is a nice condition car. Every day I love/hate the tri-spokes.
  5. Love that pic... Think removing the window tint is a must. Gotta cut and shut the HKS exhaust to get it higher to run it lower a little more legal. Secret weapon.... black bolts. Have much love for mesh BBS - my other car adjusting the arches.
  6. Farken hahaha
  7. /Flame suit on/ I lugged a set of these in checked baggage from Gemany... However was a little optomistic with the 2.5 in lips (they fit the back!!!!!!) however waiting for 1.5 in lips to arrive for the fronts (it's a V-spec so 40mm hub to caliper clearance). Ta for the welcome.
  8. Ladies and Gentlemen, Big 80's/90's group A fan here. Bought a R32 Gtr finally and love it, actually daily driving it (won't show it yet till it has got it's new shoes on - totally 80's (3 spoke advans) at the mo and I want 90's! (BBS RS)). See you all are having a lot of trouble with meets/greets and cops. Sad to see. Just saying hi as I am sure a lot of meets will go undergound and hoping to come/be invited to some. Tommorrow my Dad (with a Focus RS) are going for a blast up Healseville way and then cleaning at Eltham wash at about 9:30am - 10am. Cheers, Lincoln.
  9. Car delivered and driven. First time driving one and am impressed. Cannot think of a car sub $40k ( let alone sub $20k ) that would be better. The clutch is a little grabby but will see if it or I adjusts easily. Looking forward to some cruises.
  10. Hey mate, I have a Sierra RS cosworth and also spent a long time looking for a R32 GTR. Just bought one. I am in Melbourne but a guy one here named Fatz (who lives NSW) is a good help and a person worth listening to. Lincoln.
  11. Great pics.... Look forward to coming to next one. Lots of nice cars i want to oogle.
  12. Thanks all. BBS wheels have been purchased. Now to pack them in lugguge to get home Few more of the sierra.... I really have to finish this car.
  13. Hello, I wont be there on the 13th (an in germany at mo) but am keen to meet all Vic peeps pick your brains on GTR's. Will look foward to next meet. Lincoln.
  14. Very interested. Waiting also for offset details.
  15. Long shot but looking for... Work Meisters, Panasport, BBS RS, BBS RM or others. Thanks.
  16. Thanks guys, will come along to the SAU VIC meet when I get back from O/S.
  17. Had a hankering for a R32 for quite a while now and found one I couldn't resist... Need to get some BBS RS's for it so if anyone has a set PM me please. Also been building this for too long now...
  18. A decent dyno day but a bit short of my expectations. Looking back on my engine spec perhaps some wilder cams. more porting, bigger turbo and a little more compression might have got me closer. I am also sure that the day did not help @ 30degree c and air density 92.7% which had ACT's @ 56 deg. However I am sure the engine will be a hoot to drive.... Dyno plots - just realised that I only printed the run which started the load @ 3500 rpm - 250 rpm/sec. This makes the boost look sluggish - it came in 500rpm sooner on other runs - you can see it went from 0psi @ 3500 to 8.5 psi @ 3600. AFR2 - 0.84 only the log was 0.82 on the autronic and motec lambda modules. I had trouble with the boost controller and definately needed boost per rpm. I had the boost controller set higher but got surge at 32psi @ 4200rpm. Mapped the engine at heaps on load sites and pretty happy.
  19. Sounds silly but have you thought of adding some spacers to the outside of your seat mounts to angle the seat towards the middle of car. I have to do this to mine and it is comfortable.
  20. Still have a old school turbo for strength and reliability - have a maram 247 shaft and wheel. Have upped the compression and i'm guessing more suitable adavance with the e85 but will still be lucky to see full boost (30psi) before 3500rpm. Good things done these days with twinscroll and may go there after as the standard cossie exhaust manifold was designed for it. You a Targa nut? Man I love Tassie. Thanks all.
  21. Regular Cosworth 3 door. Would be crazy to completely f**k up any value in a RS500 (they are worth heaps more standard to people).
  22. Specs are a little long but here are the main ones. Engine to 500hp (at Dyno waiting at the moment). E85, T4, solid lifter, ported, dry sumped, pectel, MW cdi. Hollinger H6S, twin plate AP 7 1/4. 8.8" Mustang plated irs diff in modified rear cradle with camber/caster adjustment and adjustable bladed arb. Adjustable front tca and top mounts. 6 pot 355mm brakes front, 4 pot 330mm brakes rear - adjustable pedal box. Motec dash, pdm. As much carbon as I can get my hands on. 17" and 18" centrelock wheels. Thanks am in Melbourne.
  23. Looks so good - what events are you going to do?
  24. Really enjoyed viewing this thread and poking around other projects. I will have a 32 GTR one day (next race car build if the wifer lets me). But at the moment I have to settle for bulding it's nemesis......... When done I would like to find someone with a racer spec gunmetal 32 to take some professional pics with.
