  1. hey guys a few things up for sale Hks coilovers, suit r32 gtr. working fine, but pillowball joint are a bit rattly over bumps, otherwise seemed to operate well 8 and 6kg spring cheap $250 genuine Momo wheel, with boss kit, was on the r32 gtr when bought generally good condition, bit of weathering around the top, what you see is what you get. $100 cooling pro radiator hoses suit r32 gtr, may suit others, like new $50 located in WA but will post as i do with most items, no big drama pm me or post here cheers simon
  2. thanks for the replies, very helpful, the intake pipe must be quite a stretch to go from 65 to 80mm!!! new z32 afm are similar priced, but can pickup 2nd hand ones at about half the price of the nismo units. cheer again
  3. looking at your pic, the bolt pattern to the air box is the same then????
  4. Hey guys, before you blow me down, i have searched, like lots, but cannot find if the Z32 afm's fit up to the stock r32 gtr airbox, all posts say say they use pod filters.... so basically, want to hear from you guys with the stock air box in place as i'm keen to keep my engine looking stock. anyone know if the z32 will bolt up to the airbox, also there seems to be quite some argument whether the z32 will fit into the stock pipework with some stretching, or am i looking to make new pipework. all else failing i will go for the nismo units, which i know are great, but are also damn expensive........ cheers guys
  5. what is it you think is wrong with the ross branded balancer??
  6. really, this seems like the norm, I hate to say it, but an old oil pump and narrow oil pump drive with over 7500 rpm and this is where the problem usually occurs. bit of a hit and miss really, some seem to survive, some don't. sorry to hear though mate
  7. I have had a set of these in my possession, they look very nicely machined, i would perhaps replace the bolts as they are chrome if i remember correctly, could be rubbish quality, gears looked really good in the flesh
  8. you could install a helicoil over the 10mm thread to make it 12mm
  9. um.......why are you removing the turbo anyway, sound better than a stock rb25 turbo??? as long as your coil packs work ok, don't bother buying new ones for under 300rwkw, not needed fuul pressure regulators are over rated, if you have injectors large enough, no need. If you are after the last 10kw from your stock injectors, the fuel pressure reg could be of use, otherwise don't bother,
  10. I like, damn that intake looks close fitting, looking forward to any performance results
  11. the short side radius, or know as the short turn, is the small radius at the bottom of the port where the port "turns" around 90 degrese to meet the valve saet. this is usually quite ulgy in shape, between where the valve seat is fitted to the head, and the machining to fit from factory. I normaly just "round" the area slightly and make it a smooth contour. Unless you know what your doing exactly i wouldnt go removint too much material from the area. The head is looking good though, it does look as if the valves could be deshrouded a bit more in the chamber, but just being picky
  12. oh that sucks, but hey, nice build, keep the updates going
  13. there is no need for a proper, or fancy device to diengage the 4wd, any good quality switch will be fine, just connect it inline with the engine bayfuse or in cabin fuse.
  14. talked to justjap and they say nissan has discontinued the item, otherwise i would just order a new one, cheers anyway nissangts, pm sent
  15. You are correct, i cant see why it wouldn't work. Worth noting is that the intake runner is now considerably shorter which changes the characteristics of the engines response somebody correct me if I'm wrong but i think shorter runners are best for a peakier, higher rpm engine in terms of efficiency. To be honest, it would be great to see back to back results, if little difference is made, it will be tidier and easier to get to things in the engine bay. You may want to check the ports are matched too, I assume you will run one large throttle body on the front.
  16. as above, need this fitting, made of brass, located at the back of the block on the drivers side, has two pipes hanging out of it, one goes to the heater hose. cheers
  17. I'll agree with above saying if all three rear cly. were full of fuel it wont be the injectors, most likely electrical short. Although, what would happen if you were low on fuel and took a big gulp of dirt, blocking/seizing 3 injectors, possible i suppose.........
  18. wow, cheap fittings, always too late,
  19. my transfer case is farked, and i have two gearboxes and three diff/sump assemblies, so i figure, keep all the good stuff and if i so desire, probably one whole weekend and i can have it all reversed. other that that, i love the sound of the wide body, 26 gtst, kinda. also i live in a remote area, and parts are definitely not avail. without post etc besides, i prefer doing something out of the norm, looking to get a bit more lock out of the steering too, not as a drift car, but one i can take to anything.
  20. great links thanks, quite informative, they just used the outer half of the drive shaft to lock the front hubs in position, simple fix really i suppose
  21. wow, that hooks, a 10 sec would be faily easy with a few more goes, 1.9sec 60' is a bit slow too, so MPH all the way, love it
  22. nice colour, custom mix or off the shelf? good loking power curve, you would definatly know you were alive when that comes on boost, how much boost you running, E85 i assume too ??
