jump on the R31SC, plenty of cars there, but you can find them cheap any where, i will warn you however, if your anything like most people, you will fall in love with the box (31) and you will end up modifying it. Seeing as they are the best skyline around. Non bias opinion i swear.

I'm also interested in what people have to say on car security, i'm sure the topic has been covered before but with new idea's and more people getting alarms i'd like to hear people's opinions. I'll also point out to everyone that he is asking for advise regarding these alarms, not weather you think there are better security methods like tying a dog to your car on have camera's watching it. Although, in saying that, i'l like to hear some other good security methods too. I just notice a lot of these discussions get whored and off topic. Cheers.

Ah this is no good too hear. I'd probably throw some money into some security, dead locks on doors and surprisingly not much beats the old stick in the window groove trick. Give it another 6 or so months and the Dog should be enough to keep them out of the house, out German Shepherd is good like that. Fortunate that you were home at the time. I don't think they'll have a go at getting inside again but they may make another attempt on the cars. Hopefully they leave you alone. My brother sleeps with a Katana near by in case things like this happens.

Not too hard to get some made up. but at the costs to make it work and not really worth it for me. Planning to reshell into a R31 coupe so i'll change the setup over then. Might keep all the exhaust bits and stuff and set this up on my other 31. We shall see. It's late so i'll fill ya's in more tomorro.

haha. it had a new 2.5"mandrel bend exhaust, the extractors on it cracked from the heat/pressure. Would need to make custom steampipe extractors for the power i'm chassing. So i'll just do it the conventional way.

Yup, was a good learning curve but at the end of the day it's going to be better when slapped on the engine. There is just to much back pressure for the exhaust system to handle, i could go to a full stainless system but it would start getting to costly. Will also be more responsive on a normal manifold. Maybe a smaller turbo would be better but for the power figure's im chasing this setup just isn't gonna make it.

not fussed about legality. also going to a high mount turbo setup. Would love a coupe but money wise i'll probably get a S3 Ti.

Ah cheers for the info. Also, copied this across from R31SC as always: For those of you who don't already know, have my car and my spare 31 broken into the weekend before last. They didn't get is started, although they did try to push start an automatic even though the immobiliser and my other security measures we're still active. After failing to get it started they stole my Omori boost gauge, racetech water temp gauge, Just jap din 3 gauge holder and my head unit. The retarded scum also tried to get into the boot (boot doesn't pop) but being to simple minded they tried to pull the entire back seat forward instead of pulling the tabs that fold the seats and damaged the back seat a tad. Also left the window open so my drivers seat and carpet got soaked by the rain. And as i suspected, they also damaged something pushing the car out of my drive way, when i started the car it left i nice puddle of oil, hopefully nothing major but i recon they have most likely damaged the exhaust and intake piping. Any who, speaking to my mechanic, who is doing me up a qoute for insurance, he thinks that they will likely write the car off. Not that i mind at all, i'll but the car back and reshell my engine/turbo along with changing a thing or two. The plan is to buy one of the following: A mint series 2 or 3 Ti, a coupe, a 4 door R34 or a coupe. Did i mention coupe? Really want to get a coupe. But its all about money. We shall see what happens. I think that is all for now.
