  1. Seen this posted on R31SC, do you have a build thread?

    Stretch R35

doesn't look very nice. And looks like a photo chop? I've been considering doing this to my 4 door R31 though.
  3. Just wondering if any one had the cars broken into last night? Both of my 31's were broken into, the daily was moved about 30 or so metres cause the retard(s) tried to push start an auto even with an imobiliser flashing in there face. Asking because none of the other cars in the car park we're touched, only my 31's. If ya's hear anything that could be related let me know. Oh, hobart side of the state by the way. Cheers.
  4. Haha ^^ couldn't help yourself. Converge, how much lower did you go? Also, when are you putting before and after pics?
  5. haha. Just watched the dyno video, sounds amazing. Almost looks like the bat mobile without all the body work on. Got much left to do?
  6. 600awkw is going to be tricky, you'll most likey increase the speed at which the earth rotates, depending what direction your driving of course. haha. Looking forward to seeing the final dyno result, when do you expect to have that done?
  7. That is awesome. Picture almost looks sureal. I think its the first picture i've seen that isn't a close up.
  8. I assume there will be a video of this?
  9. haha. not surprised at all. It would probably be quicker if you tell us what isn't carbon fibre. How close is it looking to be completed. Everything looks to be coming together pretty good.
  10. Just when i thought you couldn't get any more carbon on the car. Got carbon fiber mirrors yet?
  11. EBC isn't nessasary, just get a good manual boost controller, EBC is only really better if you wish to change your peak boost. As for other info i'm of no use.
  12. ah looks good. Is the carbon fibre dash lighter then the factory one? I haven't been on the inside of a 35 so i have no idea what all the dash is made of. Does look pretty damn cool though.
  13. Empra comes though work all the time. It's recently been sold to someone else but they still come through work.
  14. haha awesome. Which wheels did you go with in the end? And i'm guessing you found out which type of coilovers you need? Looking forward to seeing the end result. Oh and i'm also demanding before and after pics for wheels and coilovers. Cheers
  15. I've seen a black stag going along the brooker twice now. Looks really tidy and has the lights in the grille. Belong to anyone here?
  16. I can't wait to see the end product. The power to weight ratio will be a nice number me thinks. Top stuff.
  17. it is when your a poor prick. I'll pay you weekly payments of $50. haha. If you still have it in a month, very unlikey though, then i'll have the money for it.
  18. so much want. so little money.
  19. Martin has a trailer, i know, i've used it many times. haha.
  20. In regards to this thread ^ I have nistune in my auto series 1 R31 and i have a friend with nistune in his series 3 R31 auto and they both run beautifully. So if what you say is true then Nistune seems to be the only way to go.
  21. UPDATE! Copied from R31 Skyline Club Forum: So just a little update. Polished up my Chrome Ti grille that arived the other day. Cost me $30 plus postage so i'm quite happy. Not on the car yet but i'll do that tomorro. Test patch: And after: Should look ok on the car. And some bad news, my extractors developed 2 rather large cracks, which have now been welded up. So for now i'll be not driving it much and taking it easy when i do. The exhaust system gets really hot due to the turbo acting like a large restriction and i could get some steam pipe extractors made up but then something else is gonna give and by the time we make the rest of the exhaust stainless or something to handle the heat the cost just isn't going to be worth it. So, its been a good learning experience and hasn't cost me much as most of the work that was new i wasn't charged for so we've decided to go with a conventional setup. I'm going to get a custom merge collector, steam pipe high mount manifold made up and then all the other needed bits to go with it. Also while i'm at it i've decided i'm going to put a rb25 manual in the bitch. Alot of you are probably going to pleased with this and will probably say i told you so, but this STS setup just isn't practical for the power i am chasing. I think i covered everything. Not sure, will post up pictures of the car tomorro.
  22. Damn i'm good, recon i just earnt myself a lap in the passenger seat? haha. If i remember correctly you've got a begining weight and dyno run for the car?
  23. i can't really tell where in the car that is, but at a guess is it to mount the seats lower? just a guess.
  24. I got my nistune for $410 installed. Then what ever it cost for dyno time on top. But like Krab said above, once you've got a boost controller and a fmic on your car then i would definitly get a tuneable computer. And from my experience and talking to a few others i would highly recommend Nistune, there are plenty of people getting big power out of them and because the daughter board attatches to you main ecu inside the ecu housing as far as anyone can see your still running a stcok ecu. And i doubt that many people would be able to tell even if they opened up the ecu. Unlike some other options where there is a big brand name stamped on the outside. All depends on what state your in. Ideally you'll want the tuneable ecu sooner rather then later. It'll let you get the most out of your setup as efficently as possible. Hope this helps.
  25. haha. like i said, i'm sure there are some exceptions. How many skylines are we expecting? I dropped my car to the mechanics today. Hopefully will have it back in time to come down for a look.
