  3. For sale is my pride and joy. My Nissan 200sx s14. Im selling it for $12000o.n.o as is with different plates, or $13000o.n.o with the dent fixed by a panel beater. Would look mint Its an automatic with approxiimatly 112 000km's. It's an ADM model so it has always been in australia. This car has such low km's and such an easy life, that it would be perfect for a base to start modification work, or it would make a great reliable daily driven car. much lower km's over most other s14's available. I'm the second owner. i have had the pleasure of owning this car since february this yeah, at 98 000km's. it has since then undergone its 100 000km service on time it has always been run on premium unleaded, the whole time i have had it i've run 98 octane. It has also been serviced every 5000km's and taken to a workshop every 10 000km's for an overall inspection. Car is in excellent condition inside and out, only fault is the dent in the rear drivers side quarter panel which is pictured. This car has the following modifications which have been applied only in the last 12 000km's. -3 inch Stainless Turbo back exhaust -Proper lengthened manifold (not fitted) -3A Racing Pod Filter -Hybrid HDI front mount intercooler The car was driven by a lady from brand new to work and back along the freeway in perth, WA. It has seen a very easy life and has always been kept in great condition. Unfortuanatly the dent is the result of someone in a Toyota Hilux who crashed into the car whilst i was driving, he straight away drove off and i have no idea who he is, the police also couldnt help without his licence plate details. My S14 has never been boosted or driven hard. It's pretty good on fuel for a turbocharged vehicle Its currently located in Albany, 400km's from Perth. If you would like any other details, please feel free to contact me either through nissansilvia.com or email me on [email protected]. This email address is constantly monitored. More pictures available upon request. Cheers, Glen
  4. yeah, and, its the series 1. original front but, here in WA. theyre worth a little bit more than over east being a bit more rare
  5. Cheers for that good reply im sure there are a few things i couldve done to get a bit more power, like sheilding the pod and stuff, and tuning. but..i dont really want to plough money into it. it being auto at the moment is also very annoying and ive noticed, everyone on NS hates r33's but, i do quite like the shape always wanted a skyline, but got the silvia as it was cheap and great condition now, i really want a manual and power, my chance to get a skyline but yeah, might go for the rb25det route with an r33 theyre cheap, theres a lot in good condition and, manual without having to spend heaps on a conversion
  6. I was looking into both of these options, but. they both really required me to spend a fair bit of money that i dont have, and it would still put me behind in terms of power with an r33.i've only recently done the front mount on the s14 and i would say, its done near to nothing performance wise. and ive had it tested for leaks and its fine. apparantly its just the auto draining power and the bad auto gear ratios. but, a conversion to an s14 manual. $2500. to an r33 box, close to $4000 to get it done right so, might just sell the s14 and look for a clean r33 manual? cheers for the replies
  7. Cheers guys, i have driven a mates r33. its a manual like what im after. had an exhaust leak and a pretty bad condition head but, it still drove pretty good at the time. quite liked the size of the car. steering felt somewhat better than the s14? but that might just be his massive tires he had on it and lowered springs. what im really after is a clean inside and outside, and power. ive been told that if i want to go sideways that im best sticking with the s14 as theyre very well balanced. but, id have to spend money that i dont have converting it to a manual, then spending extra to make up for the power of the rb25. and then im still behind as the gearboxes in the silvias are pretty weak with the r33's going for pretty cheap, might be able to pick up a nice example for the price i can sell the s14 at? EDIT: The other things was, the sr20 in the s14 would need a lot more money spent on mods to make equal matching speed and even power to an r33. i know if i had the money it would probably be better to mod the s14 and get it quicker than most imports but, without money, its probably better getting a cheap import in good condition with the abiity to make a fair bit of power with minimum mods. an s14 vs an r33. both with exhaust, pod, front mount and boost controller, id think the r33 would be making quite a bit more power and enough to get it over the line quicker than the s14?
  8. Hey guys, my names glen. im actually 17, go to school still and own a 200sx s14. its done shy of 115 000km's. all stock except for a 3inch stainless turbo back exhaust, 3a racing pod filter and hybrid hdi intercooler. all of it has been paid for by me the car is in perfect condition except for being automatic. thinking of selling this and buying an r33 manual though. just to get a bit more power, a manual without spending heaps and i like the skyline body shapes and yeah, thats me Cheers guys
  9. Hey guys, im new to this forum *brand new* but participate in nissansilvia.com.au and silviawa.com.au. i currently own a 1995 200sx s14 automatic. im really after an import with a manual and a bit more power. looking at spending $15 000 or less if possible. this brought me to looking at r33's. am i looking at the right sort of car? would this be considered an upgrade? many of the silvia boys are telling me that s14's are more rare but. im not liking the power im getting out of the s14 and i dont want to spend a ton to convert it to manual, and still have less power than other imports. any help would be super appreciated am i doing the right thing? Cheers
