Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone knows where I would be able to get a cover for the key on the driver's side door. I'm usually pretty savvy at finding parts I need, but can't seem to find one of these. My current one is somewhere between Montville and Mooloolaba - it never showed any signs of being loose.. oh well. My car looks a little bit ugly without it! I've attached a picture of what I'm looking for! Any help would be appreciated. My car is gunmetal grey. Thank you

So, it's good to do your research! I usually put Mobil One Gold bottle in, and the chunk that was left was the biggest there! I'll be going for Royal Purple next time.. As for brake fluid. TRW GP600 Brake Fluid is what I normally use.

Yes, a light does actually appear when going over the wierd surfaces.. but not with the first problem (might be unrelated). Would you say it's anything to worry about.. or is it something easy to fix?

Hi hi. So, just more or less putting some feelers out to see if anyone knows about this problem I'm having. After I turn the car on, if I drive for about 5 metres, a giant vibration comes through the accelerator and it's an audible electric noise. Also, if I drive up over a hill with an uneven surface (like into a driveway on a hill), the same noise will trigger something. It's an 03' 6MT Coupe I haven't looked into it much.. just hoping it's something common or something I should get checked with the VDC or something? Sorry about being so vague.

Give Chris from Audio Express a call. I had him work on my V this morning and he's an absolute genius. He's up in Redcliffe. There's a good chance that your unit has died a terrible death. Your TV isn't really that useful either. The major issue with these cars is that the aircon control is connected to the same pcb as the radio and therefore you need a new aircon control (pricey) and a new double-din headunit. You're looking at $1.5k..

Yeah, give them a ring or send them an email. The last time I rang GSL, I got a full set of 4 DBA slotted rotors for $340 down from ~$800. So, it's worth giving them a ring to see.

Yep +1 for the A1RM's. Holy crap they're brilliant. I used them on my 180sx track car/road car and they were absolutely perfect. Really little break dust too. Also, the guy at GSLRallysport deserves as much attention as he can get. Seriously the nicest guy I've ever dealt with. I remember ordering at 2pm and they were delivered to my door at 8:30 the next morning. Also, he sells some TRW GP600 brake fluid for $65.00 and it's rated to 300ish degrees.

Well, after all of my research and everything else, I decided to pop into Audio Express and Chris is getting one in to do for me next Saturday. Bluetooth and android control. If you're looking to buy one to do yourself, from what I found out.. The 350GT uses the cd changer port! So, it's the cable that is called Nis02_cdc.

I have the same issue as you with the handbrake but nothing else. I'm just assuming the handbrake needs to be adjusted. Mine doesn't work at all unless it's on the highest level and sometimes it makes a painful sound when you realise after being pulled so high. Again, I'm just assuming it needs an adjustment. Can't help with your other problem though sorry.

Haha, agreed, so sick of driving in for a repair at $1000 a pop on the ADM rare exa and 180 jdm moneypit. I know aftermarket stuff on the 180 is cheap.. But I have no idea how to fix one. The 350GT is sensible, but so much fun. Don't get any attention from the wrong people either But, yes I'm so lucky. My family is like a freaking Nissan dealer. We currently have 7 Nissans to 6 people.

Just a serious question, while I'm here for laughs. If you turn the VDC off, is that a 'true' off? Or does it just let you think it's off when it's really just working at 50%?

I'm 19, and I'm currently looking at the 3 cars I own 1989- Nissan Exa (First car).. targa top gets teh women. Got this 2 weeks before the Red P's 1993- Nissan 180SX - Turbo. Got an exemption to drive a 12psi boost 250hp car around on my green P's. - Sold being picked up tomorrow. 2003- Nissan 350GT - Bought 2 weeks ago with 66,000k's on the clock. Coupe Manual $16,500 Could not be happier right now. Still on my green P's for a little while longer. (P.s. I'm not a rich kid or anything and lots of people must think I deal drugs by the look of how good my car is. Just happen to have an awesome place to work and I still get to do full time uni!)

Hi everyone. Bumping this thread again. I've been researching these units. I contacted GROM in the US and they seem to _think_ this might work since we don't have the SAT/CAT option in our cars. They said that if the radio is anything like theirs without SAT/CAT.. it should be fine. Just need to double check! You guys would know the back of the factory stereo better than I do! Of course, there is a compatibility list there, but our imports are nowhere to be seen on the list. I know absolutely nothing about this topic.. but I'm looking to add the bluetooth dongle and that'll keep me happy without spending loads on a new HU. Again, I've contacted Chris, but I'm sure he's a busy man these days.

Is the M37 based off of a V37 (which doesn't exist yet)? Or are they confusing people like in America with the G37 being a V36 chassis? And if it is a V36.. we won't be allowed to import them anymore?

There's a possibility I will be there. I'm a full time accounting student with 2 jobs (why did I buy a $16,000 V35?) and I have a flipping Corporations Law assignment due around then. If all works out, I might come. If not this time, then definitely next.

I live in north Brisbane. And yeah, I know for a fact it's 210kW. I haven't been pulled up yet.. though I've had it for a week. And everything on the car 100% stock except for the aluminium intake pipe. And yeah, cops have no idea what it actually is. If it was the sedan, you can get away with telling the cops it's a maxima. The coupe does look a little fast and sporty.. but it's still a clean looking respectable vehicle.. and it's legal for us QLD people anyway.

Great! Thanks so much for the response! I don't need a radio.. It's something that I really never ever listen to so the frequency expander isn't necessary at all. When I mean phone.. I really don't mind either way. Bluetooth would be great.. But an auxiliary connection is all I need. I've lived happily in the past without it. Now, you say that there is a connection in the boot?! I don't have a navigation system in my car.. I thought this option was only available to people with the navigation unit? So if you could confirm this for me.. Then I would be more than happy with this option! Basically I just want some way to listen to music off my phone.. In the cheapest and nicest way possible. Chris told me that GROM unit was my only option. If you know anything about this.. Could you direct me to the right path? Thanks for your help!
