Good evening guys, It has always been my dream to own a Skyline. So I decided to take the plunge and got myself a R33 series 2 recently! Was driving a NA car previously and ever since the change to a turbo charged car, the feel of driving is totally different. The feeling when the boost comes on is just plain awesome and addictive! This site has been a great help with all the tutorials available when I was giving it a go at re-sealing my taillights as it was leaking. I hope to learn more about the car as well as modding it from you guys!

Thats a good deal mate. Yea i'll only be driving it a max of 2yrs and i would be selling it off. I'm still trying to find one that has A/C that works! and most of them has the same reply to me stating it needs to be re-gassed. Btw there is something which i'm unsure. When you get defected, do you just get a notice to get your car checked at regency? Or would there be a blacklist on your driving record stating you had been defected?

There's heated seats in R33? now that i don't remember as a factory standard? Another one i asked about A/C he said the heater core is leaking

Yup i did told him my full address and apparently he told me that. when most of the cars i see on carsales have no road worthy cert to come with. Btw is it normal for a R33 to not have its airconditioning working? Apparently i called a few of those guys on carsales and they said their car airconditioning needs regas etc

I called Just Cars and while the guy was asking about the details of the car i was looking at to quote the insurance he said i needed a road worthy cert (exactly what he said) if not they wouldn't insure me Sorry mate i'm actually looking more of a 'sleeper' car.. dun wish to be trailed every single day

i'll be buying from someone in SA so i don't think i will have to go thru regency right? just the transfer of ownership to me right? but the thing is i called to get an insurance quote and they told me i need to have a road worthy cert to the car if not they won't insure the car

How about the road worthy certificate? is it the Regency inspection report?

But how do i actually ask the owner for the car and drive it to the workshops to get the checks done, I don't think the owner would actually allow that right? is the RAA Total care inspection any good? And btw is the regency inspection = to road worthy cert?

I'm looking at abt 9 to 10k region. Don't wish to spend too much on it as i'll be using for abt 2 years only <br /><br /><br />
