  1. I ended up buying mine new from Whiteline via pedders, but contact skylinespares. http://www.skylinespares.com/ And on FB and Ebay. They always have skylines wrecking and will often have what you need.
  2. Wazza really gets around lol. Also, yeah get a wiring harness and do it yourself or get verms to show you. It is not worth getting a shop to do it, you need to learn more bout your own car and how to do a basic head-deck change over. If you have a skyline, it will need work and maintenance... Unless you are made of money learn and do the little easy bits yourself and if you get offered a hand from a SAU pro, dont waste the opportunity.
  3. Ahh, good work.
  4. Flushing it with the old radiator may put more crap in as well as clean out?
  5. I only had to cut the black round screw on covers with a hole, and put the rubber grommit in, but that is on my R33... And only did the low beams.. Coulda done high too, but didnt want 2 sets of balists... I had to unscrew the fuse box and radiator overflow, but nothing too bad.... Really sux bout all the other headaches you had though!
  6. If i had heard there was a skid pan thing being organized i woulda jumped at that too! Next time!
  7. I have an aluminum radiator in mine that was put in when it got a big service round 82,000kms. It looks good, and i think prob works better than the original. Radiator fluid is cheap, it is a good idea every year or two to use a hose and flush out the radiator and engine cooling areas and re-do the fluids. Honestly, do the fuel filter, break fluids, powersteering ect every once and a while too, they are not heaps expensive and the little things make the difference and increase the life of your car. Best luck with this horrible messy situation!
  8. You didnt give a price?
  9. They need a real answering machine message for out of hours, and also to have put a special holiday one.
  10. That is so hot. But no where near affordable
  11. Booked that day too. Maybe another time!

  13. Stupid double post that i cant delete...

  15. Yeah, Angelo says they are back open on the 1st Feb. They took a bit of a break since it is only John doing the repair work....
  16. That is hot. I wish i had the spare cash. I have another nice ESP and an Ibanez atm already though....
  17. I'll take a better look later. I just want to be sure I have the right spots so cause no damage.
  18. Got a pic of these locations, cos not heard they were any good for the car, and the only ones the workshop manual talk about are the standard scissor jack spots, which is where i wanted to put the stands... Once sort out some rubber blocks or some sort of thing...
  19. That is cool, the ones you use, and helpful also. but that still doesnt solve the other problem for me.... Cos sometimes i need the wheels off also, thus want the stands.
  20. Nissan were useless about it too...
  21. Nissan were useless when went to see them about the adaptor...
  22. Hey all, I cant seem to search up the answers, so please get back to me. I want to get some car stands for my skyline, but the ones in the workshop manual are different to any i've seen and use specific adaptor things so the stands sit curved around the sills as the stand location are the standard scissor jack ones. Can someone advise me what they do for stands and jacking? As i dont want to damage any of the under side of my car or bend the sills and ruin the jacking points when i put my car on stands. I want to use them when do oil changes, but also cos gonna do my gearbox and diff oil in the next week or so. Have you guys made up adaptors or so, is there specific stands that work best? And how to avoid damaging the bottom of my car ect Cheers guys!
  23. Ahh, so was more of an EOI. All sounds cool, but i am too poor. Cheers though dude.
  24. Sounds sweet. But i cant afford that.. I cant spend over a grand really, but woulda spent around, inc labour.. It is a sweet deal, but would have to see if would work on my car well, what extras and changes i'd need ect... I wish was all easier, but cant really.... looks so perfect and wish could snatch it up, but i dont have that cash free... and the install would be more than i could do myself, so then need more cash for that .... Cheers for the offer, and wish could snap it up.
