I used a g clamp and as you tighten the gclamp is spins the piston. Or is the piston shaped that it can't spin? If it doesn't work you may have to pull apart the caliper

Sometimes they spin back in. Have you tried that? To get mine back in they need to be spun for the rear, but different brake setup. Worth a shot
