Well they obviously aren't aimed at the same market then. A turbo model would suit a mid 20's age group. If they are putting it up against a hairdressers car then they will definitely not turbo it. I guess they'll have to wait and see what market is buying them. I think it all depends on the market that buys it I think. From a survey that merc are basing their upcoming range on is kids don't want fast car they are trying to get into classy things.. So mercs new range is aimed at kids, especially the price range.. Toyota wont put turbo charges motors in unless they're diesel because I reckon to have that option it's going to be f**king expensive with too many competitors

Yeh the ft86 run a compression of 12.5-1. Good luck to people who want to turbocharge the thing without either e85 or a decomp plate. They should have put the Subie version in all of them
