  1. coming from the guy whos putting a GTX in his Stagea. hey if i can open up that wastegate, and run the power that i have now, at lower boost, i'll be happy! honestly if i find that ill make over 300.. i'll ask him to de tune it back to 300awkw i actually dont want to run more than that, as its probably close to shitting the internals.. honestly you need to take it for a drive today its fkn different to the last tune..
  2. not all sorted.. still wanna do the bigger puck in the Wastegate, but for now its good!
  3. then your actuator reach is to long. or you dont have pre load so its already a little opened, so when it completely opens, perhaps it opens to much...thats alot of opens.. i'de be speaking to hypergear as it obviously should be happening.
  4. so its boost creeping? why dont you get a bigger puck welded on and largen the internal wastegate.. mines currently doing it at 22psi.. hypergear said they'd do it for $120 i think.. should definitely stop your creeping issue
  5. yeh maybe not inconvenience the people at the Petrol station by crowding it. perhaps monash uni clayton as normal
  6. bc BR.. from justjap best + cheapest cant go wrong
  7. i dunoo it was a road tune.. he guestimates from last time that its definitely above 300awkw.. only to get more once i change the wastegate lol it has to be over that as a 15 kw difference isnt this noticable at all
  8. so i found it wasnt the fuel pump, wasted $130 on a original walbro... Cihan had a look at the tune and was confused as it had gone all over the place.. i explained that i fixed an oil isue(in detail).. he retuned it back to AFR's of 11 on WOT. a f**kING noticable difference from the last tune which was at 285kw.. now at full throttle in the dry i loose traction at the end of first gear..with the pirellis. so ive made a significant gain of power.. also my boost issue has gone away and is now sitting at a comfortable 20 psi right through the rev range.. however ill still be getting a larger wastegate and running it.. he also said im close to 80% of injectors lol im one happy camper today.. f**king glad somethings gone right for a change
  9. yeh lol thats normal. the Chevy cruzes over there look mean though.. admit it
  10. haahah i can see that happening in my head.. just needs the classis "stop yelling at me, its tooo hard to concentrate with you yelling in my ear"
  11. didnt think it was necesary. my when it did this my AFR's were showing 10. 10 being the minimum of my gage so it could well have been richer
  12. yeh it was.. scott laughed at me when i told him lol. I have a shop that sells them locally for $130, and are a genuine Walbro Disto.. so will definitely go and get one once i test it with scottys spare tomei one.. FWIW, craig explained what happens when his would die. and its exactly what mines doing..fuel pump may have just coincidentally shit itself while i did the oil. come to think of it, the car was stuttering on idle the night before after a spirited drive.. thanks everyone
  13. after speaking to craig i think my problem is the fuel pump. seeing as i bought it off the same person, i come to the assumption that they are fake.
  14. abit of exageration, but it will rock enough to loosen itself surely.
  15. i sense sarcasm lol. a little more? lol
  16. when you shut off the engine from hitting the limiter, the engine will rock violently. this is probably just releasing itself from the plug it keeps getting caught on
  17. [quote name=ClutchBurndout-' timestamp='1309135819' post='5884179] police officer: were you speeding? you: ney only you could think of that
  18. yeh thats true.. but i guess its something we could probably never confirm.. Scott: is there a pinout for oil pressure?? or of the similar perhaps? oh yeh i know that, i thought initially he was talking about the emanage having inputs.
  19. i doubt it, i dont have any pressure or temp sensors in the oil.. will definitely go on the list after finding this but yeh. unless we're talking about stock ECU. then i dont know. the only thing ive noticed change is mid to top AFR's.. low range is the same(but much better sinse the oil thing) and cruise is about 2-3 AFR's higher than previous.
  20. hahahahah i thought the same thing.. honestly im suprised i even got up there at all on a fairly rich de tune and that oil blockage problem... anything above 13 is lean. for us on e85, we dont really need to worry about cruise, but its only on full boost full ball.. before i did the oil fix, i was at about 12 -11 AFR at 22psi.. its the only thing thats changed.. i doubt the brake sensor cable has anything to do with it
  21. ALWAYS!(needed to be repeated) my mum nearly put my GTR brakes in hard rubbish lol
  22. nah your spare one did have abit around the adaptor bolt(if thats what you'd call it) but no where near as much as mine.. well thats just it, not only that i did a motul engine oil flush.. it makes me wonder how much was in there previously.. i think ill be doing another flush on the coming service, and pulling it apart again.. more importantly.. whats everyones opinions on the tune going out? i tried calling Cihan but his phones off.. im getting and AFR of 17-18 on full throttle so im babying it around now.. too scared to push it further..and definitely wont be. but my Idle is A+ compared to before.
