thinking of this.. i actually have slightly better off the line take of.. as in the response to when you slam the accelerator is much different now..
lol this morning i managed to get the wheels spinning again, and they're pirelllliiiiiiss lol
you need to fully press the brake in. and hold the accel for a few seconds.. it should sit at 40-45%.. if you release the brake with the accel to the floor you will see 100%.
nah didnt change everyday driving, or even just planting it.. as it always went to 100%
but tonight i shall be swinging around for more testing.. i have something else i wanna try..
but i have noticed that down low the AFR's have changed down low on stall.. obviously now its getting much more air and not tuned for it, and where there wasnt boost before, there now is.. i guess the MAP sensor is helping but yeh.. i may need Cihan to do a quick road tune just for bottom end WOT.
when you get yours in today let me know what you think??
plus i think that it would only make a good difference with a highstall.. as you said yours is now hitting stall so you wouldve seen the bigger difference. the extra 5psi or so helps.
oh trust me, if anything was to go wrong, knowing this Stagea, it would've slapped you in the face just as you are about to cut it.
Just frustrating it was that simple. lol
yeh because before when scott would stall, it would hold him at 2000ish RPM,, now it limits him to his high stall converter.. which means the extra opening has increased, i also noticed a 5psi increase from where it was before for mee..
can you confirm this by getting hold of an informeter and stalling it up, before chopping the wire?
would be interesting to know, as i know andys impul is only doing 36% on stall as standard
Yep and can't believe how simple It really was obviously scotts is running off a built box which means I'm also testing it out for the next few day on the stock box to see if it handles. Scott now has an advantage with the high stall.. On my gbox it's improved a little but because I have a 2000rpm stall I can't do much ATM. But In saying that I can now boost up to 8-9psi on stall with 100% throttle and launch the bastard much better than before. I cant believe we did it, hopefully this will save us over $1000 each by not having To go gzone or nismo anymore!
lol what do you mean, do u think Nissan wants us to launch the car? im pretty sure they would keep the attessa on to defend us spinning up the wheels and launching it... that way its "as safe as possible"
Knowing nissan Japan, they wont build a family wagon and say but we are going to allow them to spin wheels so lets disable attessa when the brakes on.
highly unlikely IMO
anyway ill test it tonight at scotts.. he has a torque distro thingy. hopefully it works..
i beg to differ on that one.. i dont think it would make a difference, if the rears were spinning up the attessa would alert the front to spin.. otherwise it shouldnt work at all.. i would probably say perhaps the distribution ratio is different, but not disabled.. my thought anyway..
i figured out how to do this by the way lol.
as in the attessa bleeding. give me a shout later on. i did it to the 34gtr my GF's brother owns.. worked fine.
