Is 7mm spacers safe for V36 rear wheels? Mine's not Hubcentric but i figured since its only 7mm then it should be fine. The wheel shop guy said so as well as long as i changed to a little longer studs with it. Did research on it online but can never get a straight answer..some will say its safe some will swear it'll kill you.... Hoping people with V35 & V36 could offer some advice..

Spare Parts For V36 350gt And 370gt
WeezzerR_1405 replied to Chappy's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Well...was considering below items: 1) Paddle Shifter kit 2) Sport Bumper (Front) and possibly a nice lips for it 3) Side and back kit OEM (Aero Kit) 4) Illuminated Kick plates (Skyline not Infinit wordings) No 1 & 2 being my priority..he2.. -
Of course i'm talking rims here. What do you guys think? I think 20inch is nice for looks aesthetically but i figured it would be rough on the ride quality and affect the nimbleness of the car..maybe the cornering as well.. 19inch however is just nice as from my previous experience with the G35..but as of currently, the 18inch on my G37 are way more comfy and makes the car quite nimble to handle...

V36 - Same Size Rims On All Four?
WeezzerR_1405 replied to WeezzerR_1405's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I have a NonSport V36 and just heard from a friend that NonSport version don't have Staggered Rim Setup as Sport. So i'm not sure if my rims are staggered or not now..i would at it later but for now..can someone confirm this? (Was confident my old V35 NonSport had staggered setup.. ). If that is the case though, then i won't have problem installing same size rims all aroud right? However, does that mean that the ECU/sensors settings for Sport and NonSport V36 are different in terms of rims setup? i mean...would a NonSport V36 get the same benefit as a Sport if Staggered Rim setup was used (apart from physical benefit of wider tyres)??. If not, is there anyway to reprogram my NonSport V for using Staggered Rim Setup? As for the wheels im currently looking at now.. its a 20inch 9 (Front) and 10.5 (Rear). -
OK guys..2 questions: 1) Is it advisable to use same size rims on the front and rear for V36? I'm talking about same size and width of the rims. 2) Also, does reducing the width of the front tyres to offset the effect wider rims work? I know that the best setup advisable is staggered rims setup but there's not much option available for that setup from where i came from ..and if possible..i want to install rims without messing up the car's VDC, ABS,TPMS (If possible) or whatever sensor it might affect.

Spare Parts For V36 350gt And 370gt
WeezzerR_1405 replied to Chappy's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Speaking of spare parts...anyone know where to get all the spare part numbers for the V36?? especially for accesories?? -
I already did some google search prior to posting here and did find the 'Pivot Speed Meter V' that you've suggested..however, upon checking its manual/catalogue..it does not support V36 engine, 370z or even V35 for that matter..it might be compatible for speed reading and others..but the Limiter Cut (LC) function will not work...below link is the list of cars compatible to Pivot Speed Meter V: http://www.pivotracing.com/files/1995247/u...alog-sml-v2.pdf So yeah..unless someone have tried this on their V36 and it works..i wont be buying it yet... Well..i bought my FSC HKS delimiter in a japan website..not sure about australia though

V36 Coupe Stable At High Speed?
WeezzerR_1405 replied to WeezzerR_1405's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Thanks..Tried the screw and the window finally goes all the way up...and that fixed my wind noise issue..need to do more test though About the speed limiter..i tried using my old speed delimiter (HKS FSC) on the V35 to my new V36...does not work..searching the net ever since if there is any other bypass method..so far only ECU reflash can get rid of that.. ..will update if i do find other ways though.. -
Hi, as most of you know, any car imported from japan will have a speed limiter/governor/lock which limits the car top speed to merely 180-190km/h only. As most of you also know, our car can do much faster than that Which bring me to my question, how do you bypass/remove the speed limiter/governor/lock for my V36? Is there any other way other than reflashing the ECU? I've done this to my old V35 using FSC (Fan & Speed Controller) HKS delimiter and it work..Is there any similar bypass for V36? Maybe certain tyoe of HKS SLD(Speed lock delimiter)? Or a new FSC? Or other non-HKS product?

V36 Coupe Stable At High Speed?
WeezzerR_1405 replied to WeezzerR_1405's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
From where i came from...chances of speed traps or police at highways (where i usually drive at that speed for long periods) is close to zero!..so yeah...hopefully that won't change..hahah.. thanks for the suggestion..tried that but still the same..i think the wind-noise is more of wind entering through the driver-side door...so the side mirrors is not the problem check on it....at least from what my mechanic & the dealer said..there was no sign of accident..cant be to sure though... as i mention above..i don't really mind wind-noise..of course its normal to hear wind-noise at high-speed...but this one is different..wind is actually entering the cabin from the driver-side window causing 'LOUD' wind noise and also caused the car to swerve to the right a lil bit during high-speed which is totally dangerous... rainy day..driving at 90++km/hh...hit a slight water pool on the road..lose 100% traction on front tyres...car wont respond to direction of steering...brake caused the car to slip....and there is my story... haven't tried to do the speed-cut for this car yet...will be soon though as soon as i can find a way to stabilised the car first...i was thinking sway bars...tuned suspension...and some difussers (like the one underneath my V35)..tyres/rims will be my last resort though...thanks for the advice...will try it out... I've been testing the car again after i posted here...as mentioned above..i can pinpoint the problem being more of the 'wind entering the cabin from driver window) making the car feel unstable...for me at least...maybe its also due to the tyre 'tracking' issues considering the bad road conditions here....i'll update once i fix that window sealant problem and maybe a firmer suspension... i don't think im handy enough to do that... -
V36 Coupe Stable At High Speed?
WeezzerR_1405 replied to WeezzerR_1405's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Nah...would like to keep it mod clean for a little while. I may change the wing though as the factory chrome wings aren't my style. Also, i forgot to mention, there are wind noise when i reach 160km/h above....is that normal? don't remember that in my V35. -
Hi, I'm a previous 2006 V35 SP (sport & premium model) owner who just had an accident last June and have recently bought a 2008 V36 coupe in october (base model with nav, rear and side camera). After a month of driving the V36, i can't help but feel that V35 is much more stable at high speed cruising than V36. Not sure if it has something to do with the sport package in my old V35 (sport tuned suspension & VLSD) helping with its stability or its just my trauma from the accident . Am i alone in this or have any other people feels the same way?

Hi guys..new here..well kind of anyway. Used to post back when i have my V35 (totalled ). Anyway..now i'm back with the V36 (never learned my lesson )..and since i can't remember my old user ID..had to register a new one.. Anyway, just bought myself a 2008 V36 coupe with Nav, music box, Side & Rear camera, leather seats. Not sure if i have the premium Bose or not (still no clue what model/package that is actually). I manage to work out quite a few of those Japanese menus/buttons (due to previous experience with my V35 ) but i could not, for the life of me, get the bluetooth to work!!! . I manage to get to the menu where there is "Bluetooth" in the menu but the "Bluetooth On" button is greyed out. There is only 3 selectable buttons there which is the Bluetoth password change (the one where you can enter numbers), Bluetooth info and a button which leads to a lists of Japanese menus. Is my bluetooth on already? if not, how do i on it? Before anyone ask, i know i have bluetooth as there is the phone & voice commannd button on my steering wheel. HELP ME!!... PS: Oh yeah..i have a Sony Erricson Satio phone.
