  1. With the mods listed above I don't see why not.
  2. OK. 1) The tick is probs just the injectors as most rb's are loud as mention before. (you should here my 550cc RX7 injectors, twice as loud as the stockers were) 2) The excess fuel could be just because you are now pushing more air into the motor due to the intercooler upgrade which was also mentions above. 3) If you have a boost leak your car on boost will runn very rich as the ecu will think there is more air going into the motor than there really is. So your best bet would be to check for leaks 1st then if none are found do an error check on the ecu and see how that goes. Code 55 is all clrear. Hope this helps.
  3. May I ask what it was that killed the motors in the end? (IE what did they die from?)
  4. Yeah well I wish I had of worked that out at the time but hey live and learn.
  5. I have the 550cc red top RX7 injectors and I just needed to swap the plugs on the loom. No probs otherwise.
  6. Looks quite good mate. Your making quite good power for the boost your running too.
  7. It will be just a remapped ecu and is not that flexable to tune unless you know what your doing and have the tools to do it.
  8. To be truthfull I don't really mind if I use the stock box. just that bloody rubber intake pipe that annoys me.
  9. I agree!! If pod filters don't help then why does every man and his dog have one? I know it made a resonable difference to both my r32 and my brothers.
  10. Mate those vids are kool! The second last one really shows how strong that motor is. Good effort!
  11. It ceramic coated so heat should be kept to a managable level i would think.
  12. looks like you have the wrong adapter plate.
  13. I email the abbrassive honeing place and they basically told me to buy a HKS manifold. Quote We have flow tested one of those exhaust manifolds before and they dont flow that well but if you are looking to make serious power you should look out for a HKS exhaust manifold they flow a lot better than standard and make more power. Regards James UnQuote. Oh well
  14. What brand of heat wrap do you recomend SK? Thanx!
  15. I have one of those dodgy manifold and it was one of the many waste of times and money things I have done. I'm going back to the stock manifold when I get a new turbs. Stick with the stock one.
  16. Ahh Bugger I'll be out then. Got a wedding to go to during that weekend.
  17. That motor would put a horn on a Jelly fish! :w00t:
  18. I'll be most likely up for it. I would mind a dyno day. I havent had my car on the rollers in quite a long wile and the last dyno day I went to I had a ball.
  19. The HKS GTR-S is suppossed to be a very good setup. Interloper has had alot of success with a new one on his R32 RB20 GTS-4. Suppossed to be good for over 250rwkws with supporting mods etc.
  20. have a look here http://www.rb20det.com/testcoilpack.html
  21. Yeah I would buy one if they were made for an R32 aswell.
  22. Yeah tottally agree with you mate, and not forgetting this is a GTS4 so more losses in the drive train compared to a GTS-T and from what I understand The gtrs is still fairly efficent over 18psi. I want one!!!
  23. You hitting 5.11 volts does not suprise me at all. My brother's R32 maxes out his afm and the resolution of a 20 afm and a 25 afm is virtually the same. His did it after he put on the FMIC. If you have a big boost/vacume leak you will get a afm fault code aswell.
  24. Overbore the 20 with the RB25 haed and get a 2.4 rev monster. Oh well back to the drugs :-D
  25. I cant wait to see the GTRS power curve and figues. If it seems to work out ( As I expect it will) then I'm next for one. :-)
