  1. Yeah Duncan I agree. We played good football for about 25/90 mins. First 10 mins and the last 15 mins. Socceroos have the players and the talent to do very well this world cup. They just need to stop playing the long ball stuff and use the width of the park more. When they did this they look very dangerous indeed. Had me on the edge of my seat the last 15 mins. I felt sorry for the neibours above us hehe. All in all an ausome result. GO THE GOLD!!!!! :PBJ:
  2. Sweet!! I have been looking for something like this to come up for a while now. So Yeah I will be up for one for the HCR32 as well.
  3. I raised the hieght on the drivers side to match the other side and from the centre of the wheel to the guard they are 330mm for the fronts and 340 mm for the rears. Neither of the front wheels is rubbing on the guards or anything but I am not sure if this legal? I didn't have as much time today like I hoped to raise them all. Ah well Off to buy a dryer now (damn rain.)
  4. $60 a spring so $240 for the lot pus the frieght $25. Seemed ok to me at the time though it has been quite some time since I have bought springs for a car. As for trading in the old springs I never thought about doing that at all to be honest. Bugger!!! Might make a coffee table out of them one day. cheers mate!
  5. They weren't the default springs as far as I know. The racing springs are 13kg/mm and 8 kg/mm or there abouts according to there website. I have no Idea why the springs were so stiff ! But they were very rough indeed. Back breaking. When I hit bumps the whole front would move up. It finnaly gave me the F'n S!@T's in the end hence why I swapped them.
  6. Monday would be ok for me. If anything aventuates Let me know.
  7. After I decided to check my spring rates of my D2's I was horrified to find hey were 17.8kg/mm fronts and 9.8 rears. Not what I thought they ere I can tell you. So after a bit of research on SAU and the web I decided on 7kg/mm fronts and 6kg/mm rears and I ordered them on monday from D2 racing. They arrived Thursday (Very happy with the D2 service). Here are a few pics for your perusal. Fronts Disassembled Fronts Assembled Rears Disassembled Rears Assembled Finally All done and it looks great. I forgot to take in consideration the softer springs will have the car sit a little lower. I will adjust the strut hieghts to allow for 350mm front and 345mm rear tomorro (centre of wheel to guard.) The overall ride is firm but not too neck breaking and it handles wonderfully with no noticeable bump steer as of yet. Bumpsteer was real bad before with the old springs. What does everyone think? Any suggestions?
  8. SAFC is good for a basic modded car but not so good for masive mods etc but I have seen a an safc series 1 running larger injectors for a bigger turbo on a VR4 Galant and it didn't do a too bad of job. Got it into the 12's. So it can be ok but a stand alone power fc is by far a better chioce.
  9. http://www.apexi-usa.com/ From there download the manual etc. That will answer most q's
  10. If you go to the sensor check screeen you can get a voltage read out. I don't trust the % read out at all.
  11. Yeah I had a ball. Was good to meet up with quite a few new skyline enthusiets. I would have liked to stay on after pizza , just to tired from a big week. N1GTR: Sorry to here about your defect. The cops are so harsh in NSW.
  12. I will email it to you. Its about 8 mb.
  13. Rain hail or shine I'm there. Rain it is I would think.
  14. OK the story is: About 4 years ago a bloke I knew put a nics rb20 into an R31 and it had a Rx-7 Series5 turbo on it. Then about a year after that My good mate Simon bought it and he had it for about 2 years. This car went hard (round 170-180rwkws). Then he decided to upgrade so he sold it. Then the bloke who bought it pulled the motor out and put it into a Blueburd wagon and I just got a link of a vid and its still going hard. I can't believe it! Anyway the vid was taken at the Ingham car show just recently I belive pulling skids on the skid pan. See link below:- RB20_Bluebird_wagon
  15. Count me in lads. Will be a change from drinking in the pub on a friday. I love a good cruise!!!!
  16. I have one off these on my R32. If you are using it for a plumb back then either put a cap on the bottom one pipe or put a hose from the pipe to the vacume side before the turbo. If you leave it uncapped and its just eing used for a replacement plumb back it will leak a little thear and idle may become a little rough. Good luck.
  17. Good stuff mate. I guess Practice does make perfect. Congrates.
  18. Yeah best bloke won in the end. Guess even wankers ave there days. Mundine is way too outspoken for my liking but I cant say i would want to meet him in a dark alley.
  19. Just checked the wight of what I use and it is penzoil synthetic 5w30 (on my RB20). Probs a little light but it seems to run quite well on this oil.
  20. Thanx Champ!!! Much appreciated.
  21. Any chance you could share that pinout? I really wouldn't mind having a good look at that.
  22. True true though the extra litre would be nice.
  23. Hey the manifold looks the part.
  24. When I blew my original rb20 up I took a good look at the rods and I would think they could probs take a fair beating and all. My 1st impression was "bloody hell they are short rods. I would think that the bottom end if new(or good nick) could take a close to 300rwks for quite some time. As long as there was no det and gas temps were kept down a bit. The 8.5 cr would help alot too. Of course this is just an opinion and I could be far from the mark. Oh well.
