  1. Just a quick question. What is the max boost these conreollers allow you to run? The reason I ask is I have been using one for over two years now and untill now I have never needed more than 16psi. I wish to be able to run 20 psi and it is crewed to the pin and I can't get any more than 17 psi out of it. I have checked for boost leaks and I am 99% sure there are none. Any ideas? Oh yeah my car is an R32.
  2. I have just got my hands on a set of 550cc injectors pink tops(part number 195500-2020 ) Are these really 550cc injectors or r they different? I did get them cleaned and checked to be flowing evenly but I forgot to ask what they flow. :Oops: I just need to know so I can make the changes correctly to my stock ecu. Oh and does anyone know what the lag time is for these injectors? Thanx guys.

  5. I just recently got 17's so I have no need for my R33 rims that were on my R32. The front 2 rims are 16" by 6 1/2" (205/55R16). $200 The 2 rear rims are 16" by 7 1/2" (225/50R16). $250 or the lot for $400 They are in reasonabley good nick with very few gutter scrapes (if any at all). I will have pics up soon as I can get my mates camera. I will check the offsets soon as I get home. Willing to seperate front rims from rears but thats it.
  6. *I have stock cams and timing pulleys. *My car is still running on stock ecu map so not sure about timing but guessing it will take more.(Not game to try just yet due to last motor going :Bang: just recently.) * The exaust is a 3" turbo back kit thats looks to be mandrel bent and all. And the cat is definately a large high flowing one. The system does have a primary muffler though. * The intercooler is a Blitz kit that uses the stock piping in the engine bay. One end tank bends round and connects to a pipe that runs along the underside of the core. mate.
  7. No it doesn't wheel spin at all.Grips quite well in first and I cant snap second due to crunchy syncros. Third will chirp. I gues this will change when I put in the bigger injectors and get it tuned correctly for 20 odd psi. I do have 235 tyres now so I suppose that will help traction alot. In the wet however mmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn lets just say its nut.

  9. I'm not exactly sure but I'm guessing around 200rwkw's.This is at 14-15psi. My injectors running at 97% duty cycle. My SAFC is adding 4% more fuel after 3500rpm and on the old turbo (R33Turbo) the ratios were a little richer than 12:1. I would think the turbo would be quite capable of getting 260rwkws as suggested by uas. Obviously if the car was tuned properly. On an r34 RB25NEO motor I think this turbo would be nuts. The extra 1/2 litre would be ausome for spool up.
  10. I have a greedy plumb back BOV. Its not plumbed back atm due to intake mods I have to do soon. The surging I am talking about is not when I back off but when the RB20 comes on boost with wot. How can a bov have anything to do with this? As I mentioned before its only for a period of about 500rpm as I come on boost. From 4500 to 5000RPM.
  11. I have a set on my R32 and I can vouch for them. The 32's are the same as the 33's just use a different pillow ball top on the fronts. Look sweet as and are really top quality guys. You won't be dissapointed hey.

  15. I recently bought an ITS turbo for my R32 from UAS. http://www.nismo.com.au/pricelists/General...skyitsturbo.jpg Now its seems fine exept in 3rd gear as it starts comming on boost. When it comes on boost I hear a flutter sound from the intake side of the car. I believe this to be compressor surge? The funny thing is that it stops after about 5000rpm as the motor gets into its power band. I've tryed to get it to do it in 4th and 5th but it wont. 3rd gear is the only time it does this and only as it gets the rush of comming on boost. Any ideas on how to fix the problem? Will it hurt the turbo at all? Does anyone know much about these turbos?

  17. Yeah sweet guys. That puts my mind to rest. Well I'll get one after I get back from Indy on the gold coast. Bl4cK32: What injector lag time is you PFC set at (for the 550cc injectors)? If you don't mind me asking of course.
  18. Just need to know a bit more about the ap engerneering power fc for the R32 GTS-T. I was looking on greenline's web site and it explains that the Power fc for the R32 GTS-T only works with low impeadance injectors. Why would this be the case? Why would they do this when the stock injectors are high impeadance? I wouldn't mind getting one but I have just bought (High impeadance)550CC injectors from an RX7 and now it seems I may not be able to use em with this Power fc. Some more insight would be great before I go out and purchase one of these Power fc's.
  19. These text books you were talking about. Let me guess they are written in Japanese. I would love to have a look at these if I could read them. New I should of taken more notice of japanese classes at school. What sort of stuff does it show about RB ecu's.
  20. Engine/Car: RB20DET HCR32 GTS-T Type of failure: Melted piston and busted rings. Factors influencing the failure: Bought the car with a sickfuel pump. Upgraded to an RB25 Turbo still didn't know about the sick fuel pump. I finnally had the car dynoed and then after seeing 16:1 a/f ratio bought a new fuel pump. State of tune of the engine: Stock computer. Suspension and tyres: D2 coilovers. Set of R33 rims. Oil used and service interval: Penright engine oil. General comments: After I fixed the fuel pump I decided things were ok and got a FMIC. After that and 16psi I manged to fill a catch can up in one night. Anyway I knew the time was near for it to tottaly shit itself. Motor lasted 12months with the cooler and 16psi with low compression on pot one. The motor decided to die finnally at the drags 4 months ago. Cooked them pistons good. :flamed:

  24. Your A/C compressor may be getting worn and in the early stages of locking up. My R32 did that. Just food for thought guys.
  25. With the GTST R32 factory LSD, axles, hubbs etc. is that the whole diff or just the centre. I am really just after the crownwheel and pinion mainly. As long as its in good nick. Whats the ratio(after 4.11's) Thanx buddy.
