  1. Rb20 when tested should be 140psi from memory. Get a compression test and see what happens. Good luck mate.
  2. What sort of boost response would the 450 HP highflow have on an RB20DET?
  3. No haven't seen it yet. What colour is it?
  4. Yeah I was thinking wednesday night for the cruise. Then again any night is fine.
  5. Is anyone up for a cruise some time this week?
  6. I also noticed they only had the 2.2 and 2.4 piston kits. Would I be right in say you use the 2.4 piston kit with the 25 crank and rods and this should be 2.3 rather than 2.4? If they did have a 2.3 piston kit I must have missed it.
  7. So where abouts can I get these greenline piston kits from? Never heard of greenline. Sorry for my ignorance.
  8. Arhhhhhhhh the oil everwhere syndrom. Hahaha too late. My engine bay used to be clean as now not so good.
  9. Yeah I expect maybe 12 months max out of that motor. The seals in the turbo are gone now too. Lots of oil in the system after the turbo.
  10. To build up an RB23 from a RB20 I have been told that you need the RB25 Crank and Rods but what pistons are needed for this conversion? The reason I ask is that I intend to do this build up. It's different so I thought why not since I have the rods and crank already(RB25) and an RB20 bench motor that I intend for a tear down and rebuild. Any ideas people.
  11. Go to www.rb20det.com as I think they have a diagram for the pinout on the rb20 AFM.
  12. I bought a new dipstick from nissan (about $25 from memory). This fixed the problem but now I can fill the oil catch can in a week if I drive it hard enough. If yours is not that bad then don't worry about it to much.
  13. Did anyone end up at the drags on sat night?
  14. My motor is on its way out so that probs has alot to do with it aswell.
  15. Hey thats not a bad Idea CalaisT3RBO.
  16. It's a straight bolt on fit rsx84. Takes a little time but is not all that hard to do. Took a mate and I a few hrs to change over mine but it was well worth it in the end.
  17. Hey if you are able to send the motor to North QLD then I'll have the motor. Obviously I'll pay frieght.
  18. I'll give a hand to help out. I think we should allow other grey imports and even the car enthusiasts to join in. The more people the better. fade: I'll send you an e-mail tonight and we can organise something.
  19. I've been cruisen the strand and most of Townsville since I got my P's. I'm 23 now and you would think I would get over it. I love to drive even more since I got the R32. :aroused:
  20. Yeah that sound like a good idea. Name when and where.
  21. I have noticed the power loss after quick gear changes due to the overly rich mixtures. As for the pipe that was used for the return on the old BOV I just went to clark rubber an bought a rubber cap and hose clamped it on. I have worn riings and therefore get a fair bit of blowby and I get a fair amount of oil in the intake system which then is vented into the engine bay. Makes a slight messy engine bay over time.
  22. I have to wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt all the time for work and it sux atm. But the drags are worth it still.
  23. I'll come along but won't be racing.
  24. I think the ecu does a little bit.
