  1. got the fuel problem sorted out. ran a relay to the pump and now the pump has all the voltage it needs. went fom 12.2 to 10.5 a/f.
  2. gonna get a fuel pressure gauge and check for pressure drop. did not really suspected this, since everything is new (nismo pump, nismo regulator, ID Inj., fuel rail, fuel filter, turbo etc.)
  3. Car is being street tune. as for mods, read the thread again. if it really matters, car is making about 350 whp. ran it against a r33 with 400whp (dyno tune), and was right behind his bumper.
  4. bypass the resistor box , since they are high impedence. the stock inj. are low impedence.
  5. fuel filter was changed when upgrade took place. base fuel pressure with hose off is 45 psi.
  6. fuel pump is nismo. also have hks fuel rail, nismo pressure regulator and -6an lines.
  7. guys, hope someone can shed some light on my problem. engine specs: RB26 (Stock) GT40R BB Turbo Power FC D-Jetro with ID 725cc injectors problem is that, no matter the amt of inj duty% I input , the A/F ratio remains 12.2 - 12.3 from 7000 - 7600 rpm. low to med loads are ok. car is running 15psi. I am thinking maybe a vacum leak, but the car idles @ 850 rpm steady. On WOT, I am seeing a pim voltage of 3.5v. what you guys think?
  8. I have one on my stock rb26 with FR TS Manifold. no dyno #'s as yet, since I am tuning on the road. I am really happy with this turbo, spools good but have not really check to see when full boost comes on at 2nd , 3rd or 4th gear. will be changing to the BW EFR9180 as soon it becomes available.
  9. yes, i know it is a 2.0 bar upgrade. what i meant was that the MFD shows 1.5 bar , when the car is really boosting 1.0 bar. I verified this with an external boost gauge.
  10. replaced my OEM boards with the Nismo Upgrade. Two problems I have encountered. (1) The Nismo Boost Gauge reads .5 bar more than it should. (2) Intake and Exhaust sensor display does not come up. anyone got any ideas as to what is wrong?
  11. i took my vacum source for the map sensors from the balance tube. there is a crankcase one way valve (dunno what it is called) on the balance tube. took that out and installed a four way brass tee (two 1/8" female port, female 1/4" port and a male 1/4" (think that is the size) threaded side. had this on for over a year now and no probs with idle. car has Injector Dynamics 720cc injectors.

  13. the fc datalogit base map for the rb26 is based on what octane fuel?
  14. was this tune on race gas? as someone pointed out, your lambada = 12:1 a/f. little too lean for me with that much boost, if it was on pump gas.
  15. no, Top Fuel is a Japanese tuning shop. same as Signal, Top Secret etc.
  16. i have a friend that has a top fuel r33gtr and his a/f is in the low to mid 10's and timing is (my pov) is very aggressive.
