  1. Your fuel pump might be faulty ? But sounds more like you need to change the oil in your diff. - Not 100% sure though.

  3. Yes might have dammaged the o2 sensor. On the Power FC go the ETC setting and then Function select and under their look for the o/2 feed back control turn that off. (It's in jap the On/off but you'll figure it out ) This setting has to be turn off if your o/2 sensor is dammaged. What other modifications have been done to the car ?
  4. Hi Glen, You could try setting up a water spray for your intercooler on hot days for when we go on cruises. Other than that it sounds fairly normal as the RB engine's do run hot and with the humidity up here its not the best for them. Jun
  5. Sounds like its running very very rich! Does it smell like fuel eg: a rich, sweet smell. Is the Power FC brand new or second hand ? Also has it been tuned yet.
  6. Hi Oscar, The flared front and rear guards and the indicators on the front guards they arn't flat into the body (like gtst) they stick out and are smaller on a gtr. The GTR rear wing, Interior is different seats, dash, other guages etc. The fins on the back of the diff indicate that its a V-spec (Victory spec) GTR other wise if it doesnt have fins its a standard GTR. Other features in the V-sepc version include: Slight modification to stock suspension -being lowered more. The reaction time of the 4WD ATTESA system when under acceleration. and a couple other features.   7. Thats pretty good power their, But if you have stock turbo I wouldn't be running 15psi all day every day ! What were your a/f ratios at under full boost. (Have you got another graph?)
  8. Sounds like a fuel problem dumping too much fuel in and choking on it if its coming out the exhaust as a liquid :uhh: - SAFC ll can fix this. Could be the coil packs, you'll need to tape them up with duct tape. Because the spark can ark out the side which results in the plug not getting the full spark. Do you run the black cover ontop of your coils - Saying Nissan 2498cc etc... ? Hope that helps.
  9. This % setting is used in closed loop mode, cold starts etc. So the computer doesnt dump heaps of fuel in or cut the fuel when the functions are operating. The setting in ms is used for lag adjustments, This is also used to make sure the injector is syncronised to open at the right time. By adjusting the ms setting it can also get rid of hunting on idle, Other than that try it and see if it makes any difference. - You might need to increase or decrease by a couple % to get it best for your car.   10. What Year model ECU is it ? Because the 95mdl's have a freak ecu and they can get upto 200kw's where's any other model will play funny buggers with your car and can cause engine dammage whilst trying to push it further than it can go. Just wait intil you get the power FC and get it tuned correctly. Jun
  11. Conrod for short or Connection Rod. They connect to the piston in the cylinder block at one end and connected to the crankshaft at the other end. Goto http://auto.howstuffworks.com/engine4.htm and then look at the moving diagrams. Extractor is an exhaust manifold. The turbo connect's on to this and the extractor goes onto the head (of the motor). Jun
  12. Yep with stock injectors just leave them at 100% and 0ms.
  13. According to my calculation's 550cc x 67.5% = 370cc which is what the stock injectors are. - I think thats around what steve is running So set them at 67.5% and the ms is lag time so good place to start would be 0.8ms Jun

  18. Guys like Sydneykid said the standard plenum is fine intill you'r putting over 300rwkw's and running high boost level's then you can upgrade it. I'd go for a Greddy as it looks a lot neater plus you dont have to worrie about welding & drilling new holes for your vacume lines. Spend your money on other things that will give you useful power gains as mentioned above. :wavey:
  19. The stock injectors should be able to get to your target with a Rising rate Fuel pressure regulator. RB20 = 270cc = 165.2 rwkw's Should be no worries. RB25 = 370cc = 250rwkw's - with Fuel pressure reg RB26 = 444cc = 280rwkw's - with Fuel pressure reg Jun

  25. Don't buy a stock GTST you can buy one on these forums with lots of modifications. I personaly wouldn't bother with the interior I'd make the exterior and interior look stock with lots of engine modifications - Sleeper, but if you must! New deck - $600 For a half decent one. Speakers - $300 depends no what you want and can afford. Nismo 320k Dash - $1000 or you can just get the speedo change for around $450 Gear Nob - $100 also depends on what style you want New seats - Ranging from $1000 - $3000 ? but if your going to buy a stock gtst. Front mount - $1500 3" Exhaust - $800 Boost controler - Turbosmart manual one - $90 or electronic b/c can rang from $500 through to $1000 3" Dumpipe - $400 Body kit - depends on what you want. GTR front bars are around $500 Rims - at least $1500 for a decent set Boost guage - $100 Pod filter - $100 Try and get a car with the basic suspension, exhaust, Pod's and Mags as it will make things so much easier so you can spend money on other modifications in the long run.
