  2. 250kw's ? What about your Injectors, Fuel pump, afm's you'll need to upgrade them to gain more power. With everything done I'd be expecting around 280awkw's + however you'll need to run more boost. Sounds like a good package. Jun

Looking at ray halls CHRA part number list. Its gt35 compressor a with .82 GT30 exhaust housing how can that be rated at 700hp :uhh: but the 5005 number on the end represents the GT42/45 -704484-5005 which is rated at 800hp :confused:
  4. This is were the turbo came from. Ray change the internals and said its rated at 700hp. As he change the original 600hp GT3040 from his lexus and put the new 700hp version on. - You can deffiently notice the difference with the bigger turbo on wheel spin is achiavble easily. Skyrine-Dave that compresssor is identical. Whats the characteristics of your turbo ? What rpm does it start to spool up etc. Any photo's of the exhaust housing ? http://www.turbofast.com.au/GTseries.html Its deffiently a .82 rear as it was written on the inside of the exhaust housing were it connects onto the manifold. And its not that big in size. Jun

That doesnt make sense, but i'll try and answer it anyway.Basicaly their no answer to your question i can only give you guides to follow, number one don't run boost pressure over 12psi if you have stock fuel pump. It can only provide your engine a certain amount of pressure and fuel so by increasing your boost pressure your stock fuel pump will still be at its normal flowing rate and you'r enigne will have more air then fuel which is bad = Leaning out. If its back firing that just means its running rich and the excess fuel is being burnt in your exhaust which is the pop you hear. "Some tell me it wont hurt any thing it will just cut out and back fire" ??? Is this actually happening to your car ? As long as you have the surporting systems with the bigger turbo eg; fuel pump, ecu etc. Your standard internal RB25 should handel 18psi before your head gasket is reaching its limit and not sealing anymore, but I wouldnt run that much all day every day. Your also risking your internals, but this shouldnt happen if you'r ecu is tuned correctly. Jun
  8. Its been customized internaly. The computer with the digital camera pictures on it has a broken video card but i'll try and get it thursday for you. I was told that its the new model of the garrett GT3040. You carnt tell the difference apart from the normal 600hp and the 700hp version as its internal work thats been done.   10. Our project R33 RB25DET is running a 700hp version of the GT3040 with .70a/f and .82 rear. - Garrett version not HKS Its on full boost by 4700rpm with standard cams at the moment. It dies a little bit up top in 1st & 2nd gear between 6500 & 7000rpm but it 3rd and 4th its opposite it pulls even harder when it hits 6000 to 7500rpm. Because its such a large turbo it takes a while to get going so in 3rd and 4th the topend is huge. On the drag strip 1/4 a small shot of nitrous will help get it off the line. GT3530r should be fine on a RB30DET i'd like to see how it goes. Jun

  13. Have you fixed the problem ? If you havn't I'd say its your timing, your crank angle sensor sounds like its been too far advanced thats why its making boost, reving and going no were. Try turning it back a little bit and see if it improves or get a timing light and set it back to standard. Jun
  14. The standard boost guage on the dash is not read in psi its in mmHg so its running around 7psi at the moment, If its hitting +7mmHg its running 14psi or 1 Bar Hope that helps,
  15. Sounds like oil in the actuator, I've seen it happen to a R33 recently. Boost will keep rising under accelleration intil you back off. This was using avc-r and it wasent that solinoid because we swaped it into another and it worked fine. If its wired open it shouldnt make any boost at all. :uh-huh:

Brand new from japan Tomei Crankshaft is $5,697.50 + $500 shipping and maby another $400 on import tax and duty. forged pistons $1500 Forged con-rods $2400 Thats already $10,497 then if your doing the usual upgrades with bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump etc: Turbo $2000 Injectors $1000 Fuel pump $450 Z32 AFM: $460 - brand new GReddy plenum: $1400 Apexi PFC: $1100 boost solonide for pfc: $350 etc... thats total of $17,257 Don't forget your machineing bill from the engine reconditioner - $2000 + As steve stated the nissan cranks are very strong, With forged internals you can rev you engine as much as you like but your (rb25det) head wont handel it eg: Cam shafts, valves, valve springs etc Hope that helps,

  24. Side feed just means that the way the fuel is going into the injector - From the side. Top feed = The fuel goes in through the top of the injector from the fuel rail. You can get a set of Nismo 740cc Injectors for around $1000 from nengun
