Hi their, Currently using GAB supension on the back of the 33 gtst and it has an adjustable setting. its currently on 2 which i think is hard (drifting) and want to set them up for the drag strip. If anyone has used or are using these what would you recomend to set them on. i think they go from 1 to 9 ? also what is the best compound tire to use for the drag strip ? Thanks in advance.

does the exhaust blow white smoke ? i dont thinks its the mixtures cause if it does it on standard boost and uped boost it would change, (more boost more air flow) (less boost less air flow) - accomidating the fuel either way.

does it do it when you turn the boost down ?

At 14psi it was running 30 yes 30:1 afr but at 12psi it was running normal 12:1

yeh it might of been running lean... as on the dyno it was running 30:1 afr at 14psi. but it was only running 11-12psi on boost guage and avc-r so it shouldnt have leand too much. but i think cause the avc-r ran propper boost throught it and it was on 12psi at 3000k all the way to redline, and engine couldnt handle it. some advice get a fuel pump before boosting your car !

inless you got the money to send our cars down to brissy or syd to get them tuned i'll be in it :D:D that list you said ^ thats basicly what we had done except fuel - which was getting done next week and aftermarket ecu.

seperate boost guage but i don't know what it was reading cause the light wasent working on it. wouldnt the turbo go before the pistons ? what power can the rb25det pistons handle ?

it didnt go over 12 pound. and yes it was wired correctly. it didnt go bang either, it just died in the a$$ like big loss of power then started making burble noise

Hey everyone... we if you seen my past thread about my brothers car (r33 gtst) and how the engine died well it had a hole in piston number six, tonight we swaped the avc-r boost controller from that car to my other brothers car (r33 gtst) and we took it for a strap.... max boost we put it in was 1bar but it was reading 12psi (due to duty cycle etc) but as we were driving it suddenly cut out and the engine it died.. when we pulled up it started sounds like the car thats already blown up.. white smoke an piston number 6 is full of oil!! so is the spark plug. so we have no idear what has happened here except to question the avc-r.... the same avc-r has blown up 2 rb25det engines (piston number six) ? could this be a fault in the system ? what should you surgest we do ? What sort of power do you expect ? do you hvae a front mount intercooler ? Are you going to upgrade turbo i think the barn is dealer with hks now !

yeh the engines dead (white one) piston number 6 has got no compression and has a hole in it, jas is getting a long motor as a replacement. re-gap your spark-plugs (0.7 gap) if its miss-firing at 4000rpm ? or is it the fuel cut.

the engine is stock, and its out of a R33

its not going to be a full on drag car.. its going to be street use and drag were not tubbing it. "Originally I never liked the shape of R32's" - thats part of the reason why were not going the R32 plus as i said the engine wont have as long a life span to compare to the R33 RB26 that we found. were putting a GTR motor in a gtst not doing the rb25 up. " then your best off going to an R32 GTR simply because its faster from the factory than any GTS-t (even a GTS-t with $5k put into it)."
