ahh ok i though you had the HKS SSQV nah its alright their. im not sure how to block it up once you take the plum back off, usally you replace it with the aftermarket bov.

The hks one should be were the standard was. yer take the old one off.. and block up the hose.

Just because mines ride off 2 cars that doesnt mean the rest of us are nut cases. It seems that he canrt handle power and shouldnt be aloud to drive a skyline for long long time. When did you get your skyline ? and at what age did you want a skyline ? do you need to drive a fast car.. ? most people dont just like them because their fast you know. You would have been P*ssed of if you were still young and didnt have a skyline and wanted to buy one. well now that your older and have one dont you care what happanes to the p-platers? no having a go at any one... lol any way this thread has said alot of good info.. hope everyone learns somthing and mostly you mines

ahh... i've seen these installed in a lot of cars, silvias, 200sx, skylines, and their all gone backwards in performance wise but their horsepower reading on the dyno has gone up ? could this be the tuner or somthing else?

The standard should be blocked off. The standard bov should have been removed when the hks was installed. "After closer investigation, this noob managed to find the BOV.... However - is this normal ?? i found printed on the BOV a mitsubishi icon, and the part number K5T09474.." This is a standard Bov/plum back. and mistubishi make alot of turbos, youd be surprised that their i think the biggest turbo manufactor in the world ? i think :)the standard bov makes a pshhh nosie when you change gears so its all normal.

That still didnt answer my question. :wassup: hehe i meant that if you were still 18 or how ever old and wanted a skyline but their was laws that say you were aloud intill you had your open licence ? what would you do at this point ?

not having a go at any of use but lets say that use were 18 and you had the money to buy a gtr but their were laws on it that you weret aloud intill you were on your opens. whould you be saying fair anough or would you be gettings quite anoyed ? This thread is really good glad it happened and not one was hurt.

i would agree on the fact that p-platers carnt drive GTRs, but what about gtst's ? you know its not always the young drives who have accidents. eg: brissy crash with the 30+year old male who was wraped his skyline around a tree/pole ? (no-disrespect) their should be some sort of law on p-platers. maby take them all through a extream driving course and if you pass then you can buy your high powered car ?

that would be unfair for the decent drives, to be able to own a high performance car you have to have 1 yr in defence driving and all thoes courses?

I agree & disagree, Their are some sensible drives out that (young divers) that love skylines and leave that kind on crazy stuff for the track. then you get clowns like mines thinkin his god and going around conors sideways and rewning a beautiful car.

Is your R32 a GTR or GTST ? either way sell the ruddy thing dont dare drive it before you ride it off aswell... i hope you dont get another high powerd car.. if you do you have a death wish... lol lawn bowls

I would never drive a gtr or a high powerd car with out going to one on thoes safty courses how they teach you how to drive in wet, and so on. how did you looses control of the car ? did the car aquaplain or what happened ? i hope this thread just shows what little speed can do to a skyline or for any car in that fact.

welcome:) its ya bov when you change gears it releases pressure from the turbo. the pod will make a whisteling sound when you accelerate, the turbo spooling up is sucking. have you got a digi cam ? take some pics of your engine bay and we'll check it out. the pic attatched is were the bov/plum back is located (circled area) in most gtst's. Congrats on the new ride

Why carnt use just leave it for the track ? you could have killed any inocent by standers, which would have great impact on their families as well as yours. The main thing is your ok. does anyone know the full story ? keen to know what really happened
