Hey guys, Ive just heard that Nissan is pulling out of designing cars etc? my bro has just come to me and says that he saw in some magazine today (HPI) that Nissan are apparently not creating anymore skylines, or silvias etc? They are apparently only makins SVU's now ? Apparently they are going to keep creating GTR's but that wont last for long, and it was said that the 350z was an attempt at keeping the media busy ?? can anyone confirm this at all ? i know my bro can come up with wierd sh*t sometimes, but yeah... he swears this is real etc.

hrmm hopefully when i come to getting my exhaust system done it shouldnt make a wierd noise like that... HOPEFULLY. I plan on getting brand new tuned length extractors, with a high flow cat and 2.5inch system (maybe all custom depending on funds)... and yeah a huge stainless muffler

import scene in wangara do a good job. Thats where i went when i was helping install the stuff. Shaun there is very good with TT's and has installed many on many different cars AND he can hook it up into your alarm etc aswell.. hes very good with those too (he has installed my alarm)

i DID install a HKS turbo timer on an R34 once. Although, i forget exactly how to hook it up now, was last year sometime that i did it ahaha. plus i had a technician with me showin me the ropes. theyre not hard... but yeah, a bit of work is involved. for memory, with the 34, we actually had to pull apart the centre console etc to get to the bottom of the gear stick and to wiring etc.

my current shelf is a lil gay an thin.... i want it thicker... and i want new carpet cus the current stuff looks a lil ratty in my opinion.

yeah, im not gonna put boxes under them tho... theyre only 6 so its not like i want HUGE bass from them... but yeah... the new shelf when finished should be more than enough. itd be great if u could get some of that stuff... as long as its good stuff and works well... and stops a bit of vibration im all for it! im using my current rear shelf as the template for the new one so yeah gotta cut all the vent holes in it that the current one has and speaker holes etc. i shouldnt need to bolt down the shelf should i? or when i install the speakers on it... do i bolt the speakers down, onto the shelf and then have it go through the frame of the car aswell ??

nar im only having my 6inch speakers in there... not getting 6x9's eventually what i want is 6 inch rear (which i have got) 6 inch front splits. (dont have yet) amp/s and sub/s .

thats a lot of effort but aint it... i was only really intending on messin with the shelf itself, not start a lil woodwork thing and make boxes aswell i plan on gettin a sub later, but that will sit in the boot.. but apparently if i get a thicker wood etc it will sound more bassy than it is currently... which is what i want.

Hey all, ive decided im probably gonna try my hand at making my own rear parcel shelf. i dont particularly feel like paying around 200 bucks for a custom one to be made by audiocom here in rockingham ! what would be your opinions on what to use etc? anything i need to keep in mind etc? im thinkin of using about a half inch thick MDF for the shelf, buy some carpet stuff etc to put that over it. I figure i can just use a jigsaw to cut it out mostly etc? specially the speaker holes etc. i am making it thicker than what it is now, because i want more bass without having to try very hard i also want to stop vibration coming from the shelf aswell... is there something i should lay underneath the parcel shelf? some sort of sound deadening foam ? or some cotton sorta stuff that u find in computer subs etc? cheers for any advice, help or tips on the matter... i plan to get this underway over the next couple of weeks. (probs next week)

klutter u have a point, but no real need to rip into me bout it ? i mean yeah sure, the previous two times will make a person think long and hard before doing something again. BUT... what about the first two times? i know some people arent going to be delighted to hand over their keys even for 48hours... i know some may stop and accept this punishment, but then again, i wouldnt be surprised if some piss bolt to try their best to evade the punishment. Like i said, just MY opinion and i wouldnt be TOO surprised if there was a slight or large increase in high speed pursuits. so anyhow.... just expressing point of view. as with everyone else, and i believe the bickering that im starting to see on this particular topic needs to cease. yeah but these days ure given alot more protective equipment and better ventilation devices than what they had 20 years ago type of thing.

these laws are undoubtedly going to cause an increase in high speed pursuits, and people running from the law. as there is no way in HELL a person is going to willingly hand over their car keys after the 3rd strike. (hell even a 1st or 2nd could make people go GET F*CKED im RUNNING!) ...sure its their fault for doing that stuff n getting caught, BUT... now its gonna make things alot worse for police to catch them, as i personally think alot of people are just gonna piss bolt from them, rather than pull over "sorry officer... here are my keys..". my opinion.

dont get kumho... they wear out way too quickly... i know my next tyre is gonna be a harder compound tyre.. i cant afford to replace tyres every 6 months!

i love this type of stuff hey. :) and yeah im like kym and whoever else it was.. i will dream something, but i wont remember it in the morning, or i will only remember bits, and then down the track a bit, i will have the BIGGEST de'ja vu episode that can last for a couple of minutes at a time, and i sorta sit back and try to figure out what happened next but i cant until it happens then i get de'ja vu of that aswell... its really wierd...
