(i used to want one before i decided to get a skyline, i only changed my mind because i figured i might aswell get a more powerful car for the same price range and plus civic is FF ) hope your alright after your accident. mind sayin how it happened? (P.S. why dont you just get a Naturally Aspirated skyrine... like mwa!... tis about 100kw less power than a turbo, still puts out a bit of a punch i think, can still beat S@$tbox VL's etc ahaha)

Hey all, im sorting out what type of exhaust system i want for my car. It has been suggested to me to get a 2.5 inch system as the car is NA. Im probably gonna get a HKS or Apexi, but im not sure which.... Is there a way to get it done cheaper ? The full system is to include extractors, highflow cat, and of course the tailpipe with of course a stainless muffler. Im after a really loud sound when i gun it (as if it just all of a sudden opens a can of woopass and scares the crap outta the drivers near me) ... but when just driving around normally i want it to hum pretty much and i dont mind if its a little loud, but yeah. i think most of you know what i mean. the whole DEEP, loud and "angry" sorta tone would anyone be able to give me prices on how much a HKS or Apexi system would cost. remeber its for an N/A not a turbs. and does anyone know of a place to get this installed and buy it from. cheers for any help guys.

hmmm i may have to get the alarm organised it sounds like a good idea (as currently i have a piece of crap cyclops immobiliser installed... had the thing for about a month or two and the remote is already playing up...)

Norbert how much would it cost me to get you to install autowatch, with remote locking (or auto lock/unlock when alarm is armed/disarmed pretty much), the window module (to put windows up when armed... thats all) and i also want window break sensors, maybe knock sensor, and ultra sonics and tilt sensor ... id also like another feature installed but will discuss that at a later date if or when i decide to go ahead with everything. Could you please Private Message me with details on prices of how much each individual thing would be to install, and what it would cost to install the lot. This is a serious quote as i am interested in getting an alarm system installed into my car. (Nissan R33 Skyline of course).

yeah u have to hold the button in and turn the key at the same time i think ... not 100 % sure as ive never seen one in use, but yeah. i THINK thats what its for. wierd ass stuff

ahhh k cheers zanda but i aint good with electronics ... so i will have to get someone else to do it 4 me my car is also missing the manual start button (the one under the keyhole). but im not TOO fussy about that cus it makes it that lil bit easier for me to start.

damn thats a shame then. ya did ring shaun didnt ya ? i know he has told me the same thing before, but i thought it would be okay with manual turbos cus of the turbo timers etc. (and having to leave the car in neutral.)

ahaha kym, yeah help me angle the bastards downwards if u know how next time were out n about. and with the dimmer switch, mine has been there previously, but no longer exists (just a hole in the dash ) ive looked for wiring that would have been connected to it and cant find anything either so i dunno.

yeah fane, i know a guy who installs autowatch systems and he can wire up all the above that you mentioned. and more. only downside he is in wangara. but WELL worth a nice 40 min drive to do it i rekon. Im not sure if u could do it yourself. i think its a lil more complex. but yeah he can make it so when alarm is activated the windows will go up. he can make it so when you start the car by remote it will put windows down etc. (if i remember right...) but yeah. pretty fancy stuff he can do with it... (he has his autowatch in his car hooked up to a mobile phone, so he can call his car and arm it over the phone, he has done many mad things with his alarm system.)

i think i may have coilovers (stuff knows!) but yeah my shockies can be set to different settings and theyre pretty bloody stiff etc very bumpy ride but handles corners quite nicely.

sorry to hear your finding a few things wrong with ya car... when i bought mine i also found a few minor LITTLE things that need fixing here and there (like the fact i dont even have a dimmer switch for the dash, thers just a hole where it used to be? wierd ass .... anyone know where i can get one ?) also, without hijacking the thread (as it is also about headlights), how hard is it to angle my headlights downwards a bit, ive heard the lights can be angled cus at the moment mine look like high beams cus it shines right into other drivers eyes rather than down onto the road. (Dont they Strich9ine )
