  1. Fair enough that's a really good assessment. I am willing to pay for a 40k GT-R but since most of the parts like the brakes, suspension etc are getting replaced I'm being patient to find a cheap one. I'm not building the car by myself I've got 2 of my mates in on it so money isn't that tight but getting a cheap one would help save some money plus it'll make the missus happy, she says I'm having a mid life crisis lmao. If anyone knows one for like 34-36k even in high K's I'd much appreciate it.
  2. Where can I get a high KMs GTR for cheap? There's nothing under $38,000.
  3. I was thinking about 4WD but I guess 2WD isn't so bad, the thing is I could buy a GTR but this idea just hit me that maybe this is cheaper. If there's welding and stuff to get it close to the GTR then I guess I'll just get a GTR and sell all the unwanted parts like brakes, suspension, seats etc.
  4. Hey guys, I want to get a GTR to build up, I want it to be a sort of time attack car. I'm just wondering since I will be changing everything from the driveshaft, the engine, seats, doors, boot, bonnet, wheels etc why buy a gtr for like 40k if the chassis is the same in the GT. SO my question really is, is the chassis exactly the same? I mean EXACTLY as in you can put all the GTR parts in if you wanted to without any mods? (Not that I'll do that). Is it made from the same material? I'm asking this because I've found R34 GTs for like 10k, that's dirt cheap and thats not all, I would sell the GT's engine, seats, bonnet, exhaust etc and it would end up as like 7k only. Then I would build it up, I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than buying a GTR and then doing the build. So what do you guys think?
