  1. mount the gate on zorst housing is best for boost control.we tried to mount it on the zorst flange and the boost crept alot.Sounds like you need a 45mm progate or something like that .That is what i am rinning in my rb25det
  2. rips has sold engines to aussie before i think ask him :- 0
  3. rns11z unless you are currently making more than 300rwkw you dont need to change teh conrods as iam using the factory ones and using it for racing purposes and still havent had a rod failure and going on what i have seen i am nit going to change it either. It is only a ploy buy the manufacturers to tell you that they cant handle it so that you spend unneccesary money on stuff that you dont need so that you can tell the boys at the pub.
  4. 327 rwkw and i was pretty happy with that ,the new turbo still has plenty more to go too !!!!!!
  5. i have a s13 180sx with a rb25det in it and i am making 300rwkw with that and i have no problems with the weight distribution with that as i use mine for a circut car and it is very well balanced on the track and it goes pretty good.I am running totally stock internals and head and i pulled the motor out of a car that some chink in auck land smashed up on the motorway and i have only done a few oil changes and run good quality mobil oils.I is all about the tuning and dont let anybody tell you different.I have done nearly a whole seasons worth of racing and all that has gone wrong is i blew a intercooler hose off. Ask rips him and infomoitive here in rotorua built it he knows everything you need to know about the conversion.
  6. thats the way boy keep those internals until they break and then put another one in for next to nothing and still go skidding.Oh yes and ask rips how cool it is to be able to drive to the strip do drags all day long and then drive the ferk on home again. NIIIIIICE .!!!!!!!!!!!!!
