Hey all, i have finally got my motor back in my r32gtr now i want to get it tuned, my mate told me to go to matty spry down the coast but i dont know much about him, I live in north brisbane so if someone knows of a good place i would like to know where. my mods r standard motor with new bottom end bearings, twin t517z-10cm , s/s manifolds 4"exhaust, standard intercooler, 740cc injectors,power fc, z32 afm, eboost2, splitfire coils, bosch 040 pump. i think thats it also what sort of power do u think i will get

I would stick with drilling and tapping

^^ but wouldnt u have to pull the motor out to take the sump off? , cause if u try and weld it when its on the car the inside of the sump will have traces of oil and it possible catch alight?

R32 GTR failure-oil pump (that old chest nut!) Number 6 bearing was f**ked from no oil reason for failure-driver (me) being a dickhead to many limiter launches Due to not having time took me a year to pull motor out replace pump and bearing and put a rear wheel drive switch in it and motor back in Things learnt- how to remove a gtr engine,how to replace internal parts, and not to be as much of a dickhead!

Hey all, i was just wondering when u guys were thinking about doing a bit of a cruise because i would like to tag along if that's ok live at kallangur and im about to get my gtr back on the road (i killed it on chrissy day 2010, dam limiter launches get the best of me) so now the motor is back in and about to go to the tuners soon so hopefully she Will be back on the road within a month so if u guys r keen let us know

If ur trying to get the drive shaft out u dont need to take hub off u undo the tierod end, the two nuts under the hub (thinks its the lower control arm) and the carster r od just the two bolts u dont have to the front bolts and get a plie bar and pop the caster rod off and u should be able to lift the hub up and the drive shaft Will just come out with it

Hey all just wanna let u know that my GTR is fixed, its been awhile since ive had it going i just havnt had the timd too work on it but its all good now its got a new vspec oil pump and acl new bearings so she WILL be off to the tuners soon to hopfully pump out some good numbers

your setup looks right, is ur dip stick poping out and if so it could be blow by (if u dont know what blow by is it is when ur rings r on ther way out and the boost pressure makes it way pass the rings and presurise the sump) if u think its that turn ur boost down ur boost might be to high for the age of the motor. and if u dont think its that f**ks me what it is ;p

O and i forgot u can pick up a bosch 029 fuel pump on ebay for around a $100 bucks now and they pump 255lt/hr which is more than enough for 225rwkw

hey mate as old mate said a couple of replys ago i would start with new plugs bkr6es there $8.20 each at burson, I would say its missing due to the car making more power and ur shitty old plugs cant handle the load in 3rd and 4th and if you can i would replace the fuel pump asap cause the standard pump would only be good for a little over 200rwkw and im guessing its the original pump so it around 15yo and u dont want to lean ur motor out everytime u hit boost

if the plugs r new but r black as f**k get a tooth brush and some fuel in a container and give them a gentle scrub that should get all the shit off them them

dear imo, cause u can pick a 25 up for around $1,500 so thats $4,500 to install it when there wouldnt be much in it, engine would line up in same spot ur gear box would mount to the back of the 25, it just the wiring and again wouldnt be that hard for and auto elec
