because of the japanese i was just going to rip out all the tv components and screen etc until i got my tv tuner. Silly me. Although i cant read a work of japanese besides SUSHI....lol i do enjoy planting the throttle and eating that leaf. My m35 loves to eat that leaf as much as it can.

1J and 2 J's are a proven engine. VQ's are only in the early stage's being a new engine. Sorry that was my toyota side. I guess ive only put my stagea into the gearbox place to get the slipping box fixed. Bring on the warrenty repairs.

NOTE- you do not need the english translation to have the HD unit in your car. The unit shows full english and that is just if you want to view the cars menu in english. Its prob good to have but not a need for TV. All the TV menu is in English and Language you can choose on startup what your preference is.

speak to commsman about this. I just got my HD unit off him and he is very helpfull with the install. Cost me about $260.00 all up and about 2 hrs of playing with it to install by yourself with his help. ill be very interested in this as i hear a humming when i go over 40km/hr. its very suttle but i was just thinking i was my wheel bearings. I think i have read somewhere on here of someone else experiencing the same issue but cant think who it was. Hope someone know so i can get some idea going. Good Luck mate

my m35 gearbox crunched under full boost when you take foot of pedal. Now put my foot down and engine takes off but transmission has to catch up. Good thing I have dealership 5 year warrenty. Taking to to slacks creek on thursday to get fixed. Hopefully its something simple

ok so i realised i didnt understand what andy was saying with the power so i spent the afternoon pulling apart my boot again and running seperate power supply cables to the 2 factory clarion antenna boxes. This works a treat now so when the DVB-T unit is powered up so is the ariels. I also found out the when the Tv board is out of the Gold Casing that it works 100% better (Found this out due to testing when i had to solder the antenna IN back onto the board, totally my doing. IE- dont over tight the ring nuts on these sockets) So i just used double sided tape and put it on the inside of the rear quarterpanel near the original unit. Commsman- Thank you for all your help with this install. Your information has been spot on and i thank you for that. Also do worry about sending the other unit for testing as i feel confident that i have got it to work as its ment to this time.

and what i saw when i found the factory ariels is that the factroy ariels are already powered with stand alone power cables.

yes the antenors have their own powersource. As I said when car is stationary picture is perfect.

testing would be good. i will also have a look at my ariel connections but i used foil and tape to seperate the core and the netting.

it was the very top arial f connector that you plug into. female port. ive never had good reception with my install. only when stationary. may just be a black sheep

yes i have to agree it is a great product. I ended up pulling half my boot lining down and finding the 2 x clarion antennas and wireing them up. The only issue i have with it is the reception when i am traveling. When the car is sitting still picture is clear but when i travel it seams to drop out alot. I feel that around my area i get crap reception but that shouldnt account for everywhere. May also be my tuner box as one of the arial jacks snapped off the curcuit board and i had to solder it back on. great product and exerlent service

removed front bar and rewired the botton foggies in my aero bar back together as they were cut for compliance reasons. for such a simple job took me about 1.5 hrs inc removing and reinstalling front bar.

Had it off and broke it. Pm me some account details bud and ill take the emblem off your hands

No water from what I can see. Hmm I know with my aristo I replaced my stem seals and that fixed the issue

Im not sure the oil it has as its what the dealership put in it. Well its due for a service so ill see what thet use
