  1. Anyone here own the R33 GTR that was involved in an accident at The Lowdown & Garage 88 meet last night? I wasn't there but saw this on Facebook this morning: "3 cars were written off at THE-LOWDOWN x Garage 88 meet last night making last night's meet the most dangerous meet our community has had to date. " Story goes, S14 making a U-turn, Hero Evo ripped over the hill at 90+, hit the S14, sending it into the GTR above.

  6. PM this guy via ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321162318647&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123 He's got a workshop in Lansvale, last time I went the guy had a half cut VS2 and steering wheel looked really good, didn't have a close look at it though.
  7. ^ yep. even if there was, it won't be a short read and it won't be 100% straight forward. The way I look at it is learn it yourself, look around the head, identify which bolts hold the head on and unbolt it. Put it back the same way you took it off and should run fine. Should also be done with the engine OUT of the car. Heres a PDF package full of skyline stuff i put together myself over time, that covers across R32-R34. It includes a R34 Workshop manual with pretty much EVERYTHING you need to know about it. I wouldn't imagine RB25DET compared to the Neo DETs to be that much of a difference that 90% of the stuff won't apply. http://www.mediafire.com/download/kfp0g2vulagm88v/R34.rar
  8. Thread is very unclear and confusing. I now assume that someone is offering to buy his car but is lowballing him because it was purchased from Ed Lees?
  9. Urgently need a R34 GTT Front left caliper in sydney area with cash ready to go. hardline to go into the caliper is not necessary although highly preffered. PM me please
  10. Updated! 3 more spots left!
  11. During the tech night at JLM, apparently they no longer go off the build date on the plate. All imports are now to be registered to the year that it was imported in. So if you go and import a R34 today, the build year would be 2013 (sweet!). Judging by that, it was imported 3 years ago, would have sat in a yard for a few months, then to dealership for a few months before it was bought for the first time, in Australia. Those who also attended the JLM tech night about importing, if I'm wrong, please correct.
  12. used to run 98, downed to 95 because 95 is now same as 98 lol. BP on Horsley Drive in Fairfield East/Caramaar $1.57 for 95 First Shell coming off the M4 citybound were charging $1.77 for 98 lol
  13. Depends on the car being towed. My Auto NA has towed a 34 GTT before, I borrowed my mates custom made tow bar and it was a female dog to fit in. Being a turbo and assuming you have an LSD, I couldn't imagine any problems unless your towing something real heavy. Just don't tow if you have an open diff, a recommendation from experience
  14. JLM/Japlink Motors. After hearing their stories and their go with the Parramatta Rd Dealers, Any car in the future, I'll be taking it to them for an inspection hands down.
  15. Need a Genuine 3 Spoke OEM Nissan steering wheel, condition does not matter, the worse the better. MUST have the two plastic garnish next to the airbag, that's all I'm really buying it for. Sydney pickup prefered but happy to pay postage.
  16. I had a car towed from Cessnock back to Fairfield for about $350 which is quite cheap considering. You'll be looking at the 500 mark with First Choice Towing
  17. Hey guys, I'm in the process of getting together a Tech Night on oils and lubricants and the manufacturer of these oils wants a R35 GTR on board for oil analysis so we can use the data during the tech night. I need a GTR that's both a street car and track car. I'm in the process of gathering data for the manufacturer to analyze to use at our tech night in a few months time. You get a free oil analysis and complete report plus oil recommendation (worth $100+ alone for this test). What I need: - Engine Oil Sample - Gearbox Oil Sample - Diff Oil Sample Preferred criteria: - Everyday street and track car - Stock or worked - Sydney area (mainly Western Suburbs like Fairfield/Cabramatta and surrounding areas, but don't shy away if you're not!) - Detailed history of the car, KMs, what oils currently, how many Ks the oils have done etc. What you get: - Oil Report - Oil Recommendation - Discounts club only discounts Post here if you are interested, bit about your car, what you run and Kms it's got, including your locality.
  18. Well it was either a NA 34 or a Corolla. Choice is clear.
  19. It's quite easy and straight forward. Remove all the things that are in the way and put them back the same way you took them out but in reverse. NA motors are more painful to change than DETs
