Putting In Na Cluster On Turbo R34,
xntrq replied to enka's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
nope, both the same. just GTT's have the tripple gauge cluster in the center dash, which is seperate from the main cluster anyway. but apparently theres a difference between manual and auto as I've been told once. -
No way! I grab quite a lot of things there.. Nice to know where my money went SAU:NSW Discounts?

xntrq replied to xntrq's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)

Wrecking 1995 R33 Series 1 GTS-T RB25DET Neo. Open to take offers for entire wreck, as is. Low ballers ignored. If anyone buys the motor then this car is up for parts. Price: $3.5K O.N.O - WHOLE CAR AS IS. Price for motor: $1.5K O.N.O - As is. Price for parts: TBA after motor is gone. Pics here: http://imgur.com/a/6bE5g#3 Location: Fairfield 2165 NSW Whole car sale over parts, but if anyone buys the motor first up then it's up for parts. Colour: Pearlescent White - Direct spray over QM1 Polar White The good: Still fair condition for what it is, still runs fine. Quite stock. Power windows run Power steering good Wipers work, haven't tried water though Great for a project track car. No WOVR, can provide recent PPSR certificate. The bad: Right fender damaged Right headlight damaged Front Bumper Damaged but still useable Driver side door has damage on the edge from hitting stuff while opening doors No Spare Tyre Front passenger side wheel is fkd, but repairable by chaning a few arms or rods Passenger side brake line is fkd, but also repairable Need front passenger wheel Current colour is what appears to be a DIY job over the original QM1 paint Please PM if interested in motor or whole car. Please post if interested in any parts.

This. I didn't like skylines at first and initially thought they were hoon mobiles and big square rattle buckets... until my my friend let me drive his R34 GTT. Skylines are somewhat unique to itself. It's not common like S15's, pulsars etc; not rare like Rolls Royce, just sitting in the perfect spot in the middle. The first time I gave a thumbs up to a random 34, ended up cruising for a good 30 mins side by side and that feeling you get in the moment Since my first accident, I've been told so many times to get a shitty Corolla but I just can't bring myself to it. Even when I have a family and need a bigger car, that's what the Sedan Skylines are there for

Didn't win. Sad now /thread.

I thought it was steering assist... I felt it more stable and if there was something holding it..

How To Tell Between Rb25Det And Rb25Det Neo?
xntrq replied to xntrq's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Thanks mate, that was very helpful -
I know this may be covered already but I have only found conflicting answers. How can I tell if a motor is a RB25DE or a RB25DE NEO? Where would a stock R33 GTS-T turbo be located? What are the differences between the mentioned motors and the intake manifold, being a Y-Split or a single (as seen in most DETs)?

never had a cop pull me over, given i'm a p-plater. had them tail me before, but I don't think they were exactly tailing me, just heading the same direction thats all.
-
I've got a set. what can you offer? only selling all 4 calipers and rotors but if reasonable offer, may consider splitting for what you need.

40L Of Oil Dumped On Road In Royal National Park
xntrq replied to God_speed's topic in New South Wales
Perhaps it could be a conspiracy! Cops working with ACA to spill oil on the roads and have us and other JDM cars, slide right off the road, crash and get accused for drifting at the corner, ACA writes mad hoon story for dinner and makes billions from prime time advertising, car "enthusiasts" gets accused and a green light for investing our hard earned tax money into more defect stations, car crushers, patrols etc, and thus increases state revenue in which pays for their wages, in which again gets more cops and fines on the road which ultimately increases the governments money, and finally ends up in the pockets of missy G (J.Gillard) to pay her own carbon tax bills, in which goes back in her pockets anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if ASIO agents start tapping my wires now.. -
White R34 4 door with wing parked on Liverpool St just before the lights at 9PM. Had a old SAU sticker on the driver side rear qtr glass. had some other stickers at the rear window but couldn't make out what it was.

$3.5k for that? Looks like a bargain.

Nsw: R34 Radiator, Air Con Radiator, Headlights, Bonnet, Front Diffuser/tray
xntrq replied to xntrq's topic in Wanted to Buy
bump still looking -
Ah what a waste of money. Should have asked someone from Sydney to take a quick look first.

I've had so many near misses on James Ruse Drive heading onto the M4 ramp from Parramatta Rd. Like why the f**k would you have two lanes merge into one, and the lanes don't even have those give way lanes where theres arrows pointing out to the lane that continues onwards. Very dangerous as motorists in both lanes have rights to over take each other and theres nothing to govern who goes first.

Perhaps each member should donate $5K, go in for a System 20 with 50 games, cost? $4M just for tickets. We all win, split even and build a 1000 SQM club house, fully furnished and a outback track.
-
If this were true, my last day on earth would be at the clubhouse. Not that I'll die from natural causes, but mutilated by the missus. But yes Terry! Get Japlink to sort out a launch party. Free dyno run per car to give a chance for people who cannot afford it to see how their cars go and perhaps may persuade them to do a dyno tune later on with japlink. Perhaps all SAU:NSW members should chip in a little to buy a club BBQ? Or build a fixed brick coal BBQ. Do it Zen Garage style

Will give that a try one day, just to see if it works hah!
