Yeah I was thinking of leaving it till next year, but not gona bother fighting for it anymore. My insurance didn't give me any salvage rights and I had to auction it back and apparently after buying it back from a 3rd party, it's no longer eligible for a Repair Authorization.

Anyone who works for or owns a licensed smash repairer who can swing by my place in Fairfield West 2165 to give me a consultation on how to go about fixing it to industry standards? This is for my stat write off R34 with front end damage and I'm looking to have it repaired and reregoed. Any help would be highly appreciated and NO, stat write offs CAN be re-registered and this has already been clarified by the RTA/RMS so this will not be a topic to debate.

Change the tip. Some are bolt on, most are welded on so it may be harder to change. I wouldn't go doing much more than that with an NA. I had the same car as you and it's not worth doing anything on a NA.

Nissan should have dropped the Skyline Name then. When you say skyline, you think beast race car, not company fleet cars. This. I could say that they retained an very light essence of the R series skylines (still should have dropped the name) with the tail lights and a bit of the shape but this officially ends the definition of "Skyline". I guess when it's my turn to have kids, they will look back at R series skylines as if they are classics like Datsun, and a Datsun like a flintsonemobile.

Makes me think of Hyundai J2 or a Jaguar. I think Skylines lost its touch after the R34 imo

I've got a project in mind for when I get another R34 and I know I'll need the extra juice so. I know secondary batteries can be installed, BUT what I want to know is: - Can I run a parallel circuit from the alternator to the battery to charge both main and secondary at the same time? - Can anyone post a picture of the REAR R34 GTR battery, where it sits and positioning?

Still awaiting on the reply. From the pictures though, it looks like it's just a bolt on thing. If not, can someone elaborate on what the brackets are needed for and where it mounts and if someone could also post a pic as well? Shipping costs looks to be no more than $20. If its anymore then I'll cover it.
